His chin may finally be feeling the effects of all the damage he has taken. I've never seen him dropped before and so badly hurt like last night.

He also dosent usually start the fight with an already dead leg against a fresh opponent. His leg was definitely jacked up from the ankle roll. He rolled it again exiting the cage after the fight. He was a bit of a sitting duck for the first round until his adrenaline really got going. Weird fight to evaluate

He’s tough, major props to him for last night because he took an ass whooping and managed to pull it off. Not really a performance that inspires me to think he’d beat ilia though, cause if ilia landed the shots like Yair did Ortega would still be sleeping.

Always a dangerous opponent. Heart for days and can be a sub threat to just about anyone. I couldn't believe he was an underdog and think people forgot just how close he was to beating Volk.


Topuria is a nightmare matchup though, you can't afford to get clipped like he does against him.

I agree. But if topuria didn’t finish him because of how tough he is and his heart for days and Brian got him in the clinch or was able to get it to the ground, Ilia would be in a compromising position. And at that point in those positions Brian would definitely have the advantage just because of how slick is jiu jitsu is.
Edit * I’d still heavily favor Ilia, but Brian could be a legit dog in that fight.

Yeah but even though Brian striking isn’t on level of ilia, it’s much better than hall. Basically what I am trying to say is if he were able to chain some striking combos together to get ilia backed up tot he fence while most likely getting countered hard lol, he might be able to then get into clinch situations where his ways of winning and fighting to his strengths increased his chances of winning.

What happen with Brian, like mentally? Are there just speculation, I know he broke up with Tracy. Only thing I read was that she made an abortion, that made them brake up. Again, only thing I read with no claim it being true.
But if this is true, and now he is with his ex again, childrens mother. What a mess man, I hope he finds peace love his submissions.
