Moron, I believe that illegals should not have access to welfare. I wasn't referring to the social safety net as a whole. If you want to show up to work, fine. I just don't believe you should be rewarded with a welfare check and food stamps just for stepping over the border.

Then you should be A-OK with about 75% of the undocumented then.

Because receiving food stamps and welfare checks requires so much paperwork and is so intimidating to immigrants who don't speak the language, don't know the system and don't speak the language that the vast majority don't attempt it. And 100% show up to work.

But of course, you have to actually know lots of immigrants and know how they live and interact with them to realize this. Preferably live in a city where lots reside. But no, the vast majority with strong opinions are suburban white guys, or live in Bumfuck, Arkansas and who see a couple of brown dudes bussing their tables at a restaurant and make a bunch of assumptions.

In any case, glad to have you aboard the pro-amnesty, pro-immigration bus, ben. Wow, look at all these pro-market conservatives joining such a "liberal" cause!
