Oops. First attempt at making birria

    And its hot as fuck! I thought I removed enough seeds but nope. The chiles got this like molten lava. Any way to reduce heat in a recipe? I added more water to the consumme

    Its just red sauce and chuck roast in a crock pot at this point

    Steam some potatoes and mash them super fine, add in. Will reduce heat and salt and smooth out texture without adding any real flavor, once you shred all the meat you won’t even notice them.
