Sure if Islam had put on a dominant performance as expected then in most peoples minds he'd be p4p no 1.
But he didn't. He underdelivered - remember the pre fight narrative was he would dominant, was a near 4:1 favourite because of this. Instead he won a close fight, and won it partially via having to stall. Ending the fight on your back eating punches isn't a great look either.
So yep, OP is right. Volk is still the no 1 p4p, and Islam is clowning his own credibility by thinking otherwise.
