And one of them was Nunes/Pennington.

Other being Stipe/Ngannou.

What the fuck is honestly going on this year? Are we cursed as mma fans?

What can the UFC do at this point to protect their product?
 
There needs to be wayyyy harsher penalties for missing weight. Especially for repeat offenders.

It's sad that weight cutting has become such a big issue in MMA. It's gotten out of hand.
Respect to guys like Covington ( not a fan but I do respect him for this), Gunnar Nelson, Frankie Edgar, etc. for fighting at their natural weight classes.

Definitely seems that way at this point. Thankful I went to the Poirier/Gaethje card this year as it seems like the only quality card the ufcs put on this year that actually held together.
 
The UFC has a lot of irresponsible fighters.

Harsher penalties definitely have to be instituted at this point. The UFC is losing too much on weigh in day nonsense to allow this to keep happening
