is that he’s constantly evolving and always one step ahead of the game.you see him getting better in each fight.theres a reason why he’s the most evolved and complete fighter in mma history.

yea. he' pretty good ...no killer like aldo in his early days though lol

And nobody wants to see him fight.

Would you rather watch rampage vs fedor or

Dj vs joe schmo 125

I would hesitate to call him more evolved and complete than GSP. He is very impressive in his skill set.

Fighting and Beating TJ would just top off his Legacy. Watching him finish these 125 contenders by some crazy submission is fun. But not brining in the fans. Pay him Dana!!!

He’s not a goat

Joe Rogan and Ariel helwani like to think they control the narrative. Brainwashing guys like you to do their bidding helps.

Constantly evolving? [<diva2]

We havent seen an evolution of his game in nearly 5 years. its just he's at that point where he can pull off insane shit because his competition is light years behind. He's a better grappler than the pure grapplers and a better striker than the pure strikers.

How do you get your data and merit this?

GSP style evolved alot and he was miles ahead of elite compitition, Anderson style changed alot over the years and he was ahead right until Weidman, Jon Jones showed alot of as well.
It could easily be argued Cruz was better than DJ years ago and DJ has 0 interest in a rematch therefore he has barely grown as a fighter, iron sharpens iron DJ had 2 high profile fights with Benavidez and crushed alot of cans.

by constantly evolving do you mean his son is going to be 5 6?

I like MM and generally root for him. However, I'm withholding judgment on his GOATness until he fights TJ. 125 is still pretty new and thin, so it's difficult to gauge how much of his success is attributable to his greatness and how much is due to fighting in a weak division.

Personally, I hold TJ is very high regards. I think he's been criminally underrated for a long time. I'd say he's easily a top 5 p4p fighter. So if MM goes and besmirches TJ, his status would be solidified in my mind. To take it a step further, for me, MM is 3 fights away from being p4p GOAT. If he beat TJ, Cody (who's talked about dropping to 125), and the new and improved Cejudo, I'd be fully prepared to call him GOAT.

Defended his belt 11 times and people still don't give a fuck and continue to hate. <36>

Is there any more proof that you need that title defenses don't mean much and fans just want to see good fights?

It's crazy that people constantly question DJ's goat status, but excuse fedor's 10 year reign of mostly crushing japanese cans.

We don’t want to watch ants fight we want to watch MEN fight

I would like to see DJ finish a professional kickboxer, in an MMA match, who outweighed him by 100 pounds and was a foot taller.

Ikuhisa Minowa (63-42 record), who stood at 5'9" and 182 lbs finished the kickboxer you're referring to; you're exaggerating Fedor's achievement in a sad attempt to hate on Johnson.
