One punch KO power and glass jaw or pillow fists and granite chin. If you could only have one curse/gift combo as a UFC fighter, which would you take and why?

An example would be Arlovski - one punch KO power but glass jaw.

Easy, granite chin. Power has absolutely nothing to do with fighting. If you want to be a champion you need a brain, a chin, and heart. Glass jaws don't make it to the top.

pillowfists can still get tkos from kicks and knees and just sheer volume and also submissions. and pillowfists can also ko guys with glass jaws

KO power. I don't think all the hits to the head Big Country had will benefit his health.

Some argue Andre Arlovski has a glass jaw, but he did claim UFC gold. Cabbage had a granite chin but the belt eluded him... I definitely agree with your choice though.

Good chin for sure. Good timing and finding that chin, can ko almost anybody.

Even more interesting perspective since I see you are a pro fighter. Seems like if you have the chin, it would make you more confident in other aspects of your game.

Ya gotta go with the granite chin. There are so many GOAT's that get the job done because they keep going after taking hits that knock other fighterz out.

Arlovski didn't have a glass jaw, and using Cabbage as your example is misleading. Look at all the UFC heavyweight champions, they could all take a punch.

Takk

For sure. Knowing you can take a shot, make you more confident in planting your feet and being able to land the KO shot.

You dont need that one touch KO power to do that.

Pillow fists and granite chin all the way.

Look at Pat Barry. The guy could knock out a rhino, but can't win fights because you're going to get hit. If you can't take a hit, you're going to lose.

Pillow fists & granite chin. Rasslin, baby.

Pillow fists, because then I could take a nap anywhere.
