Michael Bisping has retired, as I'm sure many of you are aware.

I don't really care what other people's sentiments are of The Count....to me, he is the very embodiment of what hard work and dedication can achieve in life. His story is such an inspiration, from being flat broke, sleeping in cars, to becoming one of the most successful fighters in the history of mma, as well has one of the most entertaining and longest lasting. To top it off, one of maybe a handful of fighters to fight clean his entire career.

Michael Bisping brought life and energy to this sport.... a great fighter who made up for his deficiencies with grit, durability, tenacity and determination.

MMA would not have been the same without The Count, and it's an emotional moment to see one of the legends step away from the sport.

F*cking WAR Michael Bisping, FOREVER

i never liked him but i respect what he did. he fought with integrity and became champ through hard work. respect.

He's a true legend. The average man's hero.

Had his ups and downs and never backed down. He was never the most talented, the most skilfull, but boy did he work hard. Nothing but absolute respect.

Mad respect to Bisping and his career. His booth work and podcast isn't half bad either.

An amazing fighter. He picked himself up time and time again, and got the title at the very end. It was a tortuous journey, but one with a worthy climax. No matter what anyone says, beating Henderson, Anderson and Rockhold in one year is an incredible achievement. He also did it clean. His fight with Pierre was awesome as well.

Awesome, and tough motherfucker.

Reminds me of my local Long John Silvers closing down.

Ahoy Mike, have fun sailing into the sunset.

He gave us two hilarious KO’s with his loss to Hendo and his win over Rockhold.

this is a sad day for me..... one of my favourite fighters ever

a true British legend

never liked him, until he knocked out rockhold. even then i wasn't rooting for him until the KO

but to see someone whose been in the game this long, been through this many ups & downs, sacrificed a goddamn eyeball, to win the belt, it was pretty inspiring

He ducked Yoel Romero.

He accepted the fight with Romero and Dana decided to give GSP the fight after the Woodley-Wonderboy fiasco.

If you think taking the GSP fight was "ducking" you need to grow up.
