Feed Chandler to him, I think the McGregor-Porier will determine who is in line for the next title shot.

Look at what happened to Tony.
They fucking love when they funny looking guys with unique personas lose. They don't want these people as their title holders.
They want generic cartoon character dudes (either muscled, tattooed or attractive) who shoot commercials for a western TV audience of fat dumb fuckheads who drink gas station energy drinks.

How can Conor-Poirier be a path to a title shot? Poirier was finished in his title shot and Conor is a semiretired athlete, his last AND ONLY win in the division happened in fucking 2016...
Poirer-McGregor can be a money fight, but for the title contention is irrelevant.
That being said, i believe Poirier would defeat Oliveira.
 
Definitely. Justin just got his shot and his ass handed to him. It's Charles VS Conor and Poirier winner.

Been saying it and saying it.......for a good 2+ years now. There isnt a fighter alive that has not evolved more than Charles Oliveria over the past 3 years. These are 2 different entities. A scrawny 155er with a gold ground game with no offense who was befelled by top fighters . A filled out ground wizard who looks like hes been trained by Raphael Cordeiro on the feet for several years. The transformation is absolutely crazy- the best 155er walking not nsmed khabib. Khabib , should he come back ,very fortunate to witness the whole Cain Velasquez/ Fabricio Werdum deal. Khabib is healthy, aware and has it between the ears. It d be a tough mountain to climb for Charlie O but a fight I'd like to see.
Do bronx should fight conor-poirier winner for title .Gaejthe opened up his mouth last week..... and should be careful cause Do bronx will handle him too.

If not fuck dana, his entourage and anyone in support of the cuntery. The division is wide open now. There's no excuse to fuck it up again. Even if conor beats poirier and eventually oli. I'd be salty and probably avoid sherdog. But at least he's beating the best. And i know that the best contender (at the moment) got the shot. A chandler/gaethje vs poirier/conor fight cheapens the title and dulls my interest in it. It feels like how sterling got screwed repeatedly. Until yan beats sterling, i don't consider him champ. Fuck circuses.

I agree, he has. I'm not happy about him beating tony, but the guy is on an 8 fight win streak. Only guy he didn't finish was tony and he dominated tony. As painful it is to say, Give this guy a shot.

Gaethje had his chance? He had his chance against Khabib, who is gone, who is also the same guy Dustin & Conor had their shot against. Justin remains the number 1 contender under a soon-to-be-vacated belt. What do you need to know exactly?

Charles has certainly reached that top bubble where, even if he drops a fight to someone like Dustin, he doesn't fall. His streak is great, but is capped off by two ranked opponents. Look at most contenders and there's usually more than that, especially when a division is as volatile as the LW title picture is now

I really hope Chandler will not jump over Charles.
 
Looks bad for the UFC if Justin were to win the belt right off after getting dominated in his last fight by a guy who may be gone for good. Charles vs the winner of Poirier/Conor is what makes sense (not that Conor deserves it, but...you know). If Justin gets a good win, then he's next up. Seems both fair and interesting from a promotional standpoint. And Chandler? Get a couple wins and there you go.
 
He 100% should but he almost certainly won't. I believe that Dana is holding out hope for the 2nd Conor/Khabib fight, that's one of the reasons there is no belt up for grabs at UFC 257. The other is that if Conor won, he could take the belt and disappear for a year. If they have the winner fight Gaethje/Chandler winner, then supposing its Conor they would get another fight out of him around the Summer which is obviously great for business.

If Poirier wins then anything is on the table, but he'd still likely fight Gaethje/Chandler. If Dustin beats Conor, he becomes a PPV draw and the Gaethje rematch would become big. Its hard to see Oliveira fitting into this picture unless someone pulls out and he steps in. Otherwise I don't see him fighting in the first half of 2021, unless he takes a Dan Hooker or RDA step down. I don't think he'll do that. I think if Tony won they'd be in the same place.
