Media Oliveira open to the idea of an interim title fight vs. Gaethje if Islam wants to move up to 170

Of all the fights that need to happen, this one needs to happen the least. Better fights to make:

• Gaethje title shot
• Gamrot title shot
• Dariush title shot like he should've gotten in the first place instead of the Oliveira fight
• Tsarukyan title shot
• Gamrot vs Oliveira title eliminator
• Tsarukyan vs Dariush title eliminator
• Tsarukyan vs Oliveira title eliminator

But absolutely zero need for a rematch when Oliveira ran through Gaethje in the first round. It's like they're trying to make as many undeserved title shots and uncompetitive rematches as possible

I'm a fan of interim titles, if you are going to have two sizeable contenders fight each other vs. giving the champ active defenses (which I would prefer them not fight each other), then the interim serves as a number 1 contender fight with a commitment by the UFC.

It makes sense if Islam was promised a shot at 170. If Colby wins the belt then a fight with Islam is probably the biggest event that the UFC will have that year. We know that the UFC will do everything in its power to put on big spectacles and ignore the rankings entirely.

Colby doesn't take fights on short camps. Leon Edwards also takes longer camps and breaks. So if Islam is moving up to 170 he's going to be sitting out for probably 8-9 months from now at least before Colby or Leon will return. So the UFC will do an interim Lightweight fight with their two biggest names in the division to keep things exciting for the casual fans.

This is basically the UFC signalling that Islam is going for two belts.

1) IVlam will fight at WW?
2) IVlam will pull off a fake leg injury, as he already started digging after the post-fight interviews out of nowhere, just to make the first LW title defense in Abu Dhubious again?
Then Charles fights Gaethje for the interim. That's it.

This seems only to mask IVlam's fabricated "injury", because make this a "rumour" without knowing what it's going to be doesn't make any sense if not specifically for that. Pathetic, he doesn't want any of Charles's smoke outside "the place of happiness for favourite fighters", as I already stated here.

If this really happens, he is a coward and a hypocrite, plain and simple... and absolutely shady confirmed.
