Oleynik was winning until he lost

My theory is that Overeem was using the rope-a-dope strategy. He wasn't really getting hurt by Oleynik's punches, and then BLAM! the knees connect.
 
He was throwing a bunch of punches that got blocked. He was winning in the sense that he was throwing more strikes but those strikes did nothing then he got beat the hell up.
 
Yes... yes he was. But boy did he work that body over and over every time he stunned and backed up Reem. Brilliant fight IQ.. it was like pulling guard or shooting a TD, he had Reem rocked 5 times against the cage and went for body bungalows every time. I was screaming at the TV. What was he doing? It's called a gameplan. They should be developed and executed. In Reem's case, if you have him rocked, keep punching the head/ chin. Simple enough.
