woman with kids are infamously hard to sell themselves to a man for good reason. There is almost always the issue of a boy child and a male boyfriend who hates and resents the fuck outta the kid while the mom wants to protect and coddle the fuck. Stepdad-Son don't really work too good.

I don't judge, going for a younger attractive woman is perfectly understandable.
I would not personally marry a filippina, though, I don't really like their looks (jungle asians are not my cup of tea) and personalities- they seem to lack all the cool Asian character traits.
Korean ladies are fantastic though, the only downside being that a humongous Sherdogger hog doesn't really fit in there.

I wish people would stop conflating "Western" with American. I find European women in general much more feminine than Americans and I'd argue even more than Asians in some ways.

A lot of these guys who idealize women from cultures with so-called traditional values are projecting their ideals onto a culture they don't understand. Your traditional values and the traditional values of another culture are not 100% the same even if there is some overlap. Some traditions literally sell their daughters off for a buffalo or some goats.
Some of these "traditional" societies are overtly more transactional in their dealings so you know the woman you get isn't cooking and cleaning for you out of love, but because that's the deal. Which is fine if you know what you're signing up for. But if you were an employee, you'd leave your employer if you got a better offer or realize you can make more money by starting your own business.

Some of these chicks in these countries who look for a foreign guy as their ticket out of there aren't the kind of girls saving themselves up for marriage. I'm not judging these passport bros or old white dudes getting with chicks half their age, but rather hoping they know what they're signing up instead of wearing rose colored glasses simply because they don't look like a fat entitled American woman. I

my first love who brutally rejected me had a dad that I ran into in a 12step group called aca, this girls mother was a prostitute in korea and the dad knocked her up and he tried to do the right thing by staying with the woman, sounded hellish and he had to take an older male that wasn't his as part of the deal too who he said he beat up a few times. The weird thing is, I liked the guy but he seemed like he put his balls in a bunch and really handled it the best he could. the daughters were beautiful and seemingly well adjusted on the outside but of course with that lineage they had to have some issues and they did.

Filipinas? Hell no and it ain't the looks because they look fine to me. Part of that craziness is probably all the colonization, any colonized group is going to be wacky, as an native american, anyone who knows me knows I'm off but filipinos have been colonized by a few asian countries as well as the spaniards and americans. They are also matriarchal culture and I hate women that try to treat me like a boy or try to get into my head and filipinas are horrible for that.

He tried to do the right thing and still ended up with the whole family pissed at him, they all sided with the momma. Again, I was shocked to realize a girl I idealize came from such dysfunction.

We think because they present as docile, quiet and nice that that's all there is to it. Japanese people are all those things and I know from my exp. I wouldn't want to be close to any of them ever again. I still have and had Japanese friends but I have very little trust for them and am always looking out for their quirky doings so I don't get fooled again. The philippines currently has a problem with foreigners going over, banging chicks without a condom and leaving their half Filipino kids behind, and apparently a good portion of these guys are Koreans.

Japanese people and to an extent asian cultures in general seem to have a double sidedness to it that I can't quite wrap my head around. It could just be my experience but after hanging out with Japanese people with some time, I couldn't tell if we were friends because there's a wall to their politeness. The Thais were similar. Koreans were friendly when they wanted something from you. Chinese people can be incredibly giving, but they usually want something back. It's a shame because it makes me trust them less. I've met locals in countries who were incredibly friendly and giving but I could never tell if they were being genuine or if there was an ulterior motive.

People are people in terms of there will be problems and imperfections of some sort.

Just from a perspective of being able to read the room you're in, that's what makes any foreigner relationship difficult but there are some that I won't touch anymore, sure it sounds racist but that would include a couple of my own groups, I"m White and Native american, I really don't like either as a group, I try to say away from Native American's these days because they are just too mixed up. At least with white people, you pretty much know what you're getting, good or bad. Can't say that for all these other cultures. Japanese? Sure, I'll talk to them, as far as believing all that smiling polite shit? naw.., chinese I never really had issues with, Viets as I mentioned, Koreans can be quite aggressive but generally ok if you can get past that. Korea and Japan are both Martial cultures.

Filipinas? In anthropology, they do have a thing called "modal personality" and different cultures have different dominant types of personalities, I really do not like the filipino female side of it. the men are generally ok but they have this weird passiveness where they can also flip out and be ready to fight or assert themselves and joking and clowning around, always found that weird but the men are usually ok aside from that. the women? I'm not trying to go to jail for dv.

Some years back was a well known cam model from Western Europe who lived in Thailand camming with Thai young women , they got busted for drugs and obscenity and she was eventually booted from the country . Anyway she said Asian women had the blackest hearts when it came to men and particularly Pinays for whatever that is worth .

Human females apparently go through a phase of " losing their fathers " , growing up girls are the apple of their fathers eye but as puberty kicks in they realize Daddy is not theirs and on a sub-concious level are competeing with their mother but lose as Dad is committed to Mom . The result is that girls don't fall in love as hard as young men do because they have already lost a love - their father , so are more careful the 2nd time around with boyfriends ... but they still like to fuck too and many get pregnant as teens ... or used to until fairly recently due to contraceptives and society in general being more open about sex education.

I too have noticed along with Mozfonky that many women are unappreciative of the sacrifices men make and over-value themselves when they are younger but men put up with it because of sex and a desire to be a couple.

Schools should really include a class on marriage , how to choose a compatible spouse , financial matters , child raising and overall expectations . Every 6 or 7 years do a status report on the marriage and if it isn't going well , why stay together ? Remain friends if possible , especially if you have kids together.

Doesn't help that white males can at times age terribly whereas small Asian women will often age the best. There's a slightly older dude with a little Thai looking wife at the gym I go to and from a distance she looks young and fit but on closer inspection, she's close to his age.

It seems like a business arrangement to me. These women come from poverty and are willing to sleep with an unattractive guy for a more stable life financially. But I saw a doc on this and most of the men from their home country are not lookers either, so I see it as a win for them. I had a HS friend that is a video game designer. Never did well with women here. He went to Russia for work and came back with a wife. Gorgeous, had a family and they are happy 10 years later.

Marriages dont work half the time for couples who are both from the western world, so its not such a bad idea tbh.

Her points were not wrong either. Western women usually come with a ton of baggage and maintenence fees. I actually have a friend with a filipino mail order wife. Shes super nice and seems loyal enough. Best thing is, when we go over she is the uber host and the house is super clean. At first we razzed him about going that route, but we realized how good he has it and all looked at ourselves like we fcked up.
