I think the problem with mail order brides is less the age difference, though geriatric to twenty year olds is weird, and more trying to make a relationship out of nothing.

That said, if it makes you happy then go for it. I just you'd miss a lot of the fun of getting to know someone with a lot less pressure. Discovery is much more fun that way.

My first job out of college I worked with a guy with a "mail order" bride. He was super stereotypical. 60 years old, short, bald, fat and diabetic. She was at least 20 years younger. They had been together for like 10 years. Something that young lady left off is that when you get a fillipina bride, you get her familty. So he brought her mother over, and maybe her sister, I cannot quite remember. Also, after a decade, they are a lot less subserviant. And mom is never that way. He seemed happy though, and that is what matters.

I don't personally understand the desire for some super subserviant wife. If I want a maid, I can hire one. I like independet women who don't need me, but want me.

My boss has one. He's an older white guy with a much younger foreign wife. I gotta give it to them. They've been together for a while and he's the happiest husband I know.

Just showed my Asian wife this who loved it. No she wasn't a mail order bride and l am only 3 years older before anyone asks lol.
