Yes! Except not GI joes with me, it was with any action figures, I also had a jeep that I had my toys ride in. Going outside and playing in the dirt with your toys was the best shit ever, dopest fucking battles. I used to dig pits and have them fight in there. It just all around made the fights more badass.

Also special mention to shower battles, I used to spend an hour in the shower playing with my toys, it felt like they were fighting in the rain, made it feel more badass too. I always got yelled at by my mom for wasting water.
