I THINK it's an update. You can play it on PC also and your progress crosses over.

Most on the Twitter chat had no idea what it was, the game looks wild. I liked the original, i thought they abandoned the sequel so it was a nice surprise to see.

To be fair this has always been known. Everything MS releases is coming to PC now. This is a good thing for gamers. We don't have to buy PC's,Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo to enjoy all gaming has to offer anymore. Just get 3 of them and there is no game you can't play.
