Here's an overview of all the major changes to the trilogy outside of the visual design:
  • Improved controls. GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition now features a control setup described as being similar to GTA 5. This means you won't be playing with the same dated control schemes the original games used. Gunplay and targeting has been improved, as well as having better drive-by controls in San Andreas. The weapon and radio selection wheels are being updated, while navigation is also improved on the mini-maps. Nintendo Switch players will also benefit from gyro aiming.
  • Increased resolution/framerate. Players on Xbox Series X and PS5 get to play these games at 4K 60 FPS. There's no word on the resolution or framerate for other platforms yet. All versions are getting higher-resolution textures, increased draw distances, improved lighting and better weather effects.
  • Instant mission restart. No more long periods of waiting, you can instantly restart any failed mission in all three games.

Cortana is an A.I. that is less than 8 years old, and she has no body, so the relationship must remain platonic. I think that's why he invokes Leon.

Although, IIRC, it's suggested in the original European cut that Leon did get down with her, or at least one may interpret that to have happened. Which is why that's really the Lolita story of the past 30 years.

Xbox Hardware Sales Rise By 166%, As Game Pass Continues To Grow

"Microsoft has released its latest earnings report, and among the takeaways are some new numbers and data points regarding the Xbox brand. In total, gaming revenue for Microsoft grew by 16%. Hardware sales saw the biggest surge, growing by 166% thanks to "continued demand" for the Xbox Series X and S consoles.

CFO Amy Hood said on an earnings call that Microsoft shipped more Xbox Series X|S consoles than expected during the period, despite the ongoing chip shortage and other supply issues.

Additionally, Xbox content and services revenue rose by 2%. Microsoft saw growth in Xbox Game Pass subscriptions during the period, though the company did not announce a new figure. The last time Microsoft announced a subscriber number was in January 2021 (18 million). More recently, Microsoft announced that Xbox Game Pass subscriber numbers did not grow by as much as it expected.

The growth in Xbox content and services revenue was also positively affected by first-party games, but was offset by "declines from third-party titles," Microsoft said, though it did not name any titles outright.

According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, Game Pass might have 30 million members--but Xbox boss Phil Spencer has pushed back on this."

  • [*]It's similar to Dragon's Crown.
    [*]Side-scrolling action game.
[*]Princess Mononoke vibes with the art.
[*]Massive world with a belfry tower that acts as a home base.
[*]You establish settlements in the world that funnel back resources to craft items, weapons etc.
[*]From a team that's good with art but have not done a game like this before.

Never been a Halo guy, or care about the franchise too much but man Im really looking forward to the MP for Infinite. I may actually go through the Master Chief Collection so I can do the campaign sometime aswell but the MP looks so much fun.

I thought the first game was really fun. Beat it with one of my cousins when I visiting in Massachusetts. One of the best coop campaign experiences I've ever had.

I'm optimistic because I've read they're going to stop fucking PC gamers over with the ridiculous level of controller auto-aim in cross-platform MP. It's an infuriating handicap in MCC.

In fact, I've noticed controller gamers that are part of the early access program bitching on places like Reddit that they are struggling to compete when there are KB+M gamers present:

Games are always more fun as co-op tbh, and its from a generation whree co-op was pretty much standard. Ill try to get the first 2 or 3 done before launch but Im not too worried, I specifically want an FPS that has fun MP. The recent COD MW was fun because I played with friends but Im looking for one where I can just play at my own pace and have fun.
I just want to recreate the early days of playing some TLOU MP, meeting some good dudes and fucking shit up.

What really made me more interested was the short video they did specifically for Halo on PC, and all the settings theyre adding that's pretty much never been done before. Im excited to stomp some console folk.
