I'm with you...but we lost. Blocking everything for 4 or 8 years is really not going to help anything. By at least being willing to talk perhaps we can get a few items we want, or at least keep the extreme things out. In the end you have to play the hand you are dealt.

Well when we had the house and the senate and they tried to block we gave it to them, dry and hard. I would rather try and work with them and take it with lube and perhaps even a reach around.

I have a feeling that what the GOP wants and what Trump wants are going to be on two planets and we'll end up with the same 4-8 years of nothing except ACA getting repealed.

ACA seems to be the only thing Trump and the GOP agree on.

We might see the Democrats and the GOP working together for real this time, but their efforts are going to be focused solely on cockblocking Trump.

I've had multiple posts since the election.

I'm a little taken aback by the concern, guys. Posting here is a hobby (some would say compulsion), but politics isn't central to my life. Like I mentioned before, I'll do fine under full GOP reign. It's other, more-vulnerable people that I'm worried about, and I will make it a point to use the windfall I'm expecting from upward redistribution in a positive way.

Today is a VERY entertaining day. I'm not a Trump supporter, I'm anti-Hillary. She lied to us about sniper fire in Bosnia to embellish her story, she lied about the attack on Benghazi to take blame away from Islam or downplay the situation, she lied about Bernie Sander's stance on policies to turn people away from him, and she lied about the classified material within the e-mails on her unsecured server. How the hell did the Democrats think that America would choose a known LIAR who appears to lack morals (laughed as she recalled defending the rapist of a 12 year old girl via victim blaming) over a Celebrity businessman who may lack business ethics but has addressed hot button topics like open borders, jobs going overseas, inner city hopelessness, and corruption in politics?

Bernie would probably have beaten Trump. Bernie wasn't my choice either but the Dems poisoned that well and there was no going back. Love him, hate him, or feel indifferent; Trump is a wake up call to the establishment on both sides. Let's hope for the best.
