The thought of Felice more into her bikini contest competition's then the overall prep of fighting in the biggest org/tournament of her life is proving just how serious her training has been. She got splashed with a lot of money to sit out to wait for this opportunity and seems she has enjoyed it. I can see one of the new unnamed girls coming into the house hungry and having their way with her.

It was more of a fitness type pageant than a bikini contest. Every girl there was shredded. Also, she trains everyday.

She really started shredding before her Fitness Magazine photoshoot and her abs have started to pop since then. She's constantly sharing videos on Instagram of her training on the pads and sparring. Besides Tecia, Felice appears to be training harder than most of the other girls. But then, that could be because she shares more than the other girls. I'm sure JoJo and some of the others are training just as hard.

Is Yana Kunitskaya planning a return? She only had her child like a year ago so she's probably focusing on that too much to train, but worth asking

There was talk of Kunitskaya having a come back late last year but since then I haven't heard anything. Perhaps news of a fight will surface sometime this year and we'll see it happen.

With all of the talk of Kate Da Silva seeking to get into the UFC it left me wondering what happened with her planned fight with Jessy "Jess" Rose Clark this coming June. As far as I can tell that fight is still on, no news of it being cancelled yet.

However I have yet to see anyone from the normal Women's MMA scene even comment on this fight taking place. No one seems to be covering it. I double checked Jessy Jess' Facebook page and she is still training and seeking financial backing for this fight as of May 11th.

I saw more confirmation that that fight is still on, the last paragraph in this next pic of a new paper article posted on Twitter by Da Silva confirms it.

The 115 division is sure shaping up to be a great one. Perhaps it will finally put the "wmma sucks" discussion to rest. Well, somewhat, at least. Some people still bitch about the lighter weight classes in men's mma. What you gonna do?

The ignore function sucks though. You still see that the ignoree posted something, and you still get post reply private messages from them. Ignore should be ignore, totally eradicate them from existence.
I think I'll ask the admins if that's possible, instead.
But you have a point. I should be doing more of that too.

2013 was tough. I knew it was going to be, fighting some of the best girls in the world, above the weight I normally walk around at.

I put everything on the line and did it anyway. I came up short, though I gave the next UFC title challenger a good run for her money...

...but what I took from those experiences is something money can't buy. It's always been about the journey and the challenge.

I'm still here; still learning, still improving. There's more to come. I'm not done yet.

Interested in what's next for her.

I'm glad you enjoyed that fight. Bennett is a fun fighter to watch. It has been sucky for her as in defeating Pena virtually no one has been willing to fight her until recently.

I've seen that fight with Nakamoto vs. Phillips. Agreed Nakamoto is a great fighter. Phillips is no slouch herself.

Elizabeth Phillips will be fighting Katie Howard towards the end of the month.

I'm not sure about the weight yet but I suspect Phillips vs. Howard will be at 125. Howard's pro fights have been at 115 but she fought at higher weights as an ammy.

Any more background on Alexandra Albu? I mean, how good is her Judo exactly, what level of success has she had in Judo and how good is she in Jiu Jitsu, whether Brazilian or otherwise? She is the only WMMA fighter I know who could fight at BW who is on the same planet as Rousey in terms of strength, power and athleticism.

Sara McMann's manager tells Ariel Helwani his client wants to fight Sarah Kauffman.

McMann (7-1) has a target: former Strikeforce champ Sarah Kaufman. Sounds like a good matchup, but of course this has to be complicated, right? Seems that Kaufman has other plans, as she told Helwani that she is more interested in fighting either Cat Zingano or Miesha Tate, both because they are bigger names and coming off victories.

All things considered, the McMann-Kaufman fight makes plenty of sense. McMann is ranked No. 4 and Kaufman No. 5 in the most recent poll results. Will it happen? That's anyone's guess, but Cox said that McMann wants to be very active, because at age 33, she only plans to compete for 2-3 more years.

Would love to see this matchup as both women can strike. McMann probably has the advantage due to her grappling pedigree. Seems like a good fight for both women as it vaults the winner into top tier status.

I was sick watching the Matt Brown fight and the way Herb Dean allowed him to recover from his liver shot only to come back for the win. If he had given McMann that much time, it could have been a very exciting fight.
