Reed deserves to be in the UFC .....at strawweight or better still super atomweight, please tell me that the fight is at 125 where at least Elise has a good chance of sharing Sijara's show money.

I guess fighters just have to grab the opportunity, Brogan Walker had to turn down a fight last year, but will they ever call again?

Another military officer prospect i've been following - this time with the British Army - was New Zealander Charlotte McIntyre. Covid and her day job seem to have put a halt to her progress though, and now she does this to me.

With Brogan being a school teacher she probably didn't have time for a fight camp.





A few fighters got pregnant during the pandemic lockdown. Kailin Curran, Charlotte McIntyre, and Trisha Cicero who was supposed to fight at Invicta 43 but pulled out due to injury.

Who knows? Belts don't count for much in MMA, especially WMMA.
Far too many black belts regularly make white belt mistakes in the cage, we won't know anything about her ground game until she gets grappled.

Walker-Sanchez said that she couldn't make the weight in time, an actual camp seems to be a luxury with a lot of the matchups nowadays, more like if you can get to Vegas by Tuesday you get a contract.

I guess such chaotic matchmaking is inevitable but I wonder why the late call ups all seem to be guaranteed a four fight contract? I would have thought most would have been happy with the opportunity to impress and the show money. While a full contract solves the immediate issue it surely leads to problems fitting these new fighters into the schedule later on?

I think it makes more sense if Qihui fights on the Asian Contender Series while Karine is on the US one

Generally every time two fighters in the same weightclass get added at the same time they end up fighting each other. It's been a pattern with fights that have been announced after fighters have been added to the app together.
