Wishing Ribas a full recovery.

Hill must wish she got a finish against Carla. Thinking on how many possibilities there are for fights in that division. With the talk that Carla should get the title shot - and I'm in agreement - it's painful recalling close split decisions could have gone another way. Well, that's the fight game. Never leave it in the hands of the judges. Still hoping some time Hill might position herself for a contender or title shot.

This is why I think a fusing 135 and 145 into a single division would be the best solution.

You're still destroying a long established division for the sake of fewer than a half dozen fighters.

Nah, I think YouTube is probably the best route for Invicta to stream their cards. It's just that AXS TV hasn't had a MMA card in over a year (Combate 56: Fresno), and even then the folks in the production truck didn't have to deal with broadcasting on network TV and streaming on different social media platforms simultaneously. I think it only gets better from here.

From a presentation standpoint I'll give it a grade of a C+. Adding Taryn Temple, a local sports broadcaster, to tell the human interest stories was a nice touch. Although I do miss the media week and promo videos Cynthia Vance would do for their YouTube page.

Hopefully Invicta keeps up the Youtube stream for internation views, so i can watch with a VPN. Unfortunately, AXS just isn't available from my provider in my area. A huge problem, and one reason why I've never liked promotions going to them

Except it wouldn't. It'd be a brand new division, brand new title, with none of the history, have to do all new rankings, and start from scratch. All for the sake of a tiny handful of fighters, who, let's be completely honest: don't belong in the UFC.

Judging by the fact that Impact Wrestling also streams on Twitch, Anthem's version of AXS is a lot different than the HD Net/AXS of 10+ years ago.
