Pretty much everybody from her team that gets to the UFC ends up doing camps at ATT.
She seems fairly close to, or is often associated with Thiago Santos who’s at ATT for the moment.
Sarah Kauffman should die her hair bright red; the other Canadian WMMA fighters do it and seem to keep their roster spots rather easily!
Kaufman has actually really impressed me since getting to Invicta. I felt as if the sport had begun to pass her by, but she’s definitely added more wrinkles to her game.

lol, yeah those canadians seem to all find the same way to spice up their marketability/personality <45>throw sarah moras too in there, though with red hair i fear her eyes would be even scarier

What do you mean scary eyes?

Greek WMMA GOAT and modern day Helen of Troy Elina Kallionidou (who made her pro MMA debut in 2014 aged 16 and one month) flew out to China today to fight someone who looks like she is on everything (and tranes UFC with Yan Xiaonan) but was still able to come away with a Homerianly heroic victory by 3rd round KTFO.

Yep, from what we see here in Brazil Marreta and Poliana are in a relationship.

I think the right word is Homeric.

At 1st glance the record of Veta Artega looks OK. Her record is 5 - 2. So I went to see how good her level of opposition was to get a better picture. I have not watched tape on her yet but by going strictly on paper I don't think she will be much of a problem for ilima. She mostly fights to split decisions with 1 TKO which was doctors stoppage and she subbed a kickboxer which should not be hard since the chances are they have no BJJ.

Her level of competition
Before Bellator
3 wins - 3 Losses
In Bellator
17 Wins - 14 Losses
Overall
20 Wins - 17 Losses

Seems like a steep step-up for Artega but I guess she has snuck up on a run lately. Pretty sure MacFarlane takes this easily but I don't wanna see either take the L

Nothing against Arteaga, she seems like a cool chick, cool background story, but this is weak sauce. Julianna Velasquez is 3-0 in Bellator, and just beat up Alejandra Lara, Macfarlane's last challenger before LeTourneau.

That's who I would have thought would be next in line too. Give us that and Artega-Yankova 2 instead. I know there's some ana there, and oh do I love some juicy drama!

I see MacFarlane has her next title shot lined up, any word on when Julia Budd when defend her 145 strap?

I don’t think so. Bellator has dropped the ball on that division. Hard not to, though. It has no appeal.

If UFC does scrap the 145 division, Cyborg and Megan Anderson would make good additions to Bellator assuming they would want to go there.

Meh. It would then be one big fight, then Cyborg vs can of the week after that.

Anderson was a hype job from Invicta; she’s just not that good.

I would have thought they do Olga vs Budd, after that girl handled Cindy. But they booked her for that Sinead in Ireland instead. So who knows maybe after that it happens, maybe they bring in Leslie Smith or Pam Sorenson or Budd vs blencowe 3.
