This boat platforming level SUCKS
TN does this in every game and they’ve become something of legend. In past games, you would literally just walk off a plank into the water because boards being submerged or not on-off meant terra firma + dim lighting.

Earned the Platinum tonight. *brofist Jumped into another game and was like, nah, F this; have to grab it. Parrying elemental projectiles or explosions proper never gets old.

The v1.05 changes are great, especially the persistent sort settings and their changing dragon cure pot offer to down arrow rather than the same key as loot pickup because so often drops and burials overlay.

Retiring game for real this time until expansions hit. Got my char (SL 140) and account readied while sitting on 3M copper so I don’t log back in to some half-build, broke samurai bum.

So the first boss is as hard as the first time facing him when you enter ng+. Not sure how they did it. More cheapness and dropped parries maybe.

Not a bad game but the enemy variety is sorely, sorely lacking. I’ve been fighting the same enemies for like 2/3 of the game.

Yeah it's like they forgot that was a pitfall of the Nioh games.

NG+ is kind of ridiculous in this, TBH. It's heavy garb or nothing and can be two-shotted or spirit-zapped in a single strike at SL 150. Silly. 5-star drops are nice but coming expansion gear and set bonuses will outperform what we have now so was hard to commit after NG (for me). The one thing I did in NG+ that I think helpful for DLCs is I farmed 4/5-star Entertainer set chest and footwear because it's the only armor set in-game I'd found that allows for Luck spec on those two pieces. If interested, I did this by farming Part 4's sub-battlefield Fate of the Entertainer; run it over and over.

Free on game pass.

Worth the subscription fee alone? Looks fun.

Is this like nioh?

Zhang Liao is an insane jump in difficulty. This guy has like 4 attacks that one shot me.

Never played Nioh but it is definitely with it. Its a great game. The boss fights are well done.

I had no trouble with him. Since ive reached level 60 I've felt invincible.

I’ve wrecked everything so far. Took a break then destroyed him and the next boss. Weird fight for me I gues.

Second time I've beat a boss and it's frozen at the cutscene and it's taken me back to before the boss.

Well I've now beaten Lu Bu demon form twice and it freezes afterwards and when I reload it sends me back to the start of the fight. I guess I'm gonna have to re install or just quit. What a load of shit.

New game plus has taught me this game sucks immense amounts of cock.

Got to Blinfolded Boy.
He's a pain in the ass. Almost killed him once though. I'm a few levels below recommended so I might do some side stuff.

Hard fight above or below recommended, TBH. A lot of chasing. Congrats on almost putting him down; you’ll get it. What WPN class did you ultimately main?

NG+ not fun like Niohs. Felt gimped with the morale handicap and DMG balancing plus lacks incentive outside 5-star drops. Don’t write off expansions yet though. You know Team Ninja does DLC well.

I've been using dual bronze swords almost the entire game. Fully loaded my Earth stats.

He keeps getting me with his grab attack. When I do successfully parry it I get excited and forget to parry the follow up attacks lol

Earth in general is a high ROI stat, IMO. Smart. I have a soft spot for proc builds so I flirted with Metal for toxicity more than once in NG. The way this game teaches you to cast counter-elements (or how the five phases work rather) is not clear but I do like the system they have in place once it's picked up. I don't think (a) has any elemental counters on the note; his wizardry is all over the place. Cold steel is the way.
