Whatever process you mods go through, I think you guys do as good a job as possible herding our crazy little band of cats.

I get there are calls people aren’t going to like or feel like there’s inconsistencies but we do try to communicate with each other and improve from our mistakes or determine how to better handle future situations better. It’s never perfect but there is legit effort there.

Can't ask for more than that and the effort is appreciated. I see people bitching about mods overstepping boundaries but I haven't experienced it. And I've crossed the line a few times myself. And on that note - How many times have I been reported? I don't want to know by who.

Mod award is kinda a sham cause posters can’t see all the stuff going on in the background. There are significant shortfalls I have that others on the team pick up here.

Whatever shortfalls you might be conceiving, I'm sure they are more than made up for by being the most amiable mod and most likely WR mod to advocate for a poster (closely followed by @irish_thug).
I mean it hadn't even occurred to me to hand out reply bans that were anything but permanent...

It’s weird because the heavies I flamed a ton and would get mad at posters. Somehow the WR taught me to cool down and I don’t know how or why. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen you get heated before now that I think about it.

I guess I have had a different experience with him. he always seems genuine in his thoughts, doesn't have a tribe, and sometimes shares his personal life experiences with the forum.

But just imagine this. Even those of us he considers bottom of the barrel are still in the top 30 to 40% of all WR posters as the nicest man in the WR has at least 60% of all posters on ignore

@Bald1 makes the effort to understand others’ points of view and argues in good faith.

He has what I would call some problematic cultural biases but I can say that about a ton of people on here. He is a good man in my book even if we don’t agree on many things.

@Jack V Savage in undeniably one of the smartest posters on this site and is almost always right, especially in the areas I agree with him on, which is most. Could he learn to be more forgiving of lesser mortals sure, but given the number all out RW hack bots out there, he gives us a least a tiny bit of balance to the force. So I’ll allow it.
