Well I can't speak for others but I try to speak the truth as I see it. Last week I was saying it was a coin toss with slight advantage Trump and now I'm saying its a coin toss with slight advantage Harris. So basically its a coin toss election.

Not sure what the political angle is here, but anything can be spun.

Guy raises a baby squirrel for 7 years and can’t keep it to himself (constantly posts updates on social media). He lives in NY where this is illegal. Someone rats him out and the rest is history. While serving the warrant, an agent got bit by the squirrel so they had to euthanize it so they could verify it didn’t have rabies.

I guess the political angle is that NY is a Democrat state. Yeah the squirrel was illegal but then so are a third of the NYC residents.

Likely it's to get ahead of any early claims by the other party of victory. Easier to disregard them if the a portion of the public sentiment is you're winning.

Just speaking from my gut but I'd guess maybe polls show that people feel more dejected and like their vote is a waste if they feel it's being cast for the losing side at that moment. Already hard to get people to vote, harder if they feel it's not going to result in a win.

Whereas "it's working, we're winning, your opinion is the accepted one and you can be part of this win" is more motivating to voters?
