I have a serious business interest in this election. If Trump gets in and fucks up your economy (and likely ours along with it) it could actually put me out of business. So, here's to hoping I'm right and the polls are wrong. There's no harm in wishful thinking, I always say.

I agree 100% with the last sentence. The rest, sorta yes and sorta no. I agree the polls aren't worth a fuck, but I think Harris has a much better than 50-50 chance and I think it's because it's likely more women will turn out to vote Democrat (or stay home rather than vote Trump) than ever before. Well that and the whole situation with the comment about Puerto Rico.

At this point, I feel like I can't even really trust my own judgment. I want Trump to lose, but I'm aware enough of my own bias that I might be overcorrecting.

Realistically though, it doesn't really matter for me. Either way, my plan of action is the same: focus on community based mutual aid and stock up on supplies and ammunition. If Harris wins it'll be easier to organize, but the strategy remains the same.
