This is just my opinion, but I honestly don't think ML and o/u bets will get voided. It is possible though

Maybe for a couple rounds but you think Johnny has it in him to implement that strategy over a 5 round fight? You know Wonderboy has been working counterwrestling like a madman. And if Jhonny wasn't training for 5 rounds...

Might be some good LB opportunities in this one honestly. If Jhonny is hitting takedowns easily early and controlling WB without using too much energy that will be far different than if WB is really making him work hard for everything.

I thought he slowed down in the third against Condit. Was a while since I watched it tho. Sure it was a intense fight, but from what I remember he looked a bit tired in a 3 rounder.

He did but Condit pushed hellacious pace of nonstop activity as usual which Wonderboy doesn't do, and it was classic "tough weight cut cause i'm fat" Johny. Dude looks so soft in that fight.

As much as i want WB to win its defo a lb fight for me as we just dont know what WB tdd will be like against a wrestler the calibre of JH. Im defo not paying the juice on JH, WB is a very live dog potentially but i cant bef him without having seen his tdd. Hopefully its not a repeat of Condit fight.
 
The title of this event is being changed to a fight night and UFC 197 is being changed to UFC 196
 
If I have tickets to 196 I'm trying to argue they should now be valid for McGregor-Dos Anjos.

(I legit have tickets to 197 so obviously don't really let this happen.)

Makes sense. Made a comment earlier about how UFC's schedule lines up for UFC 200 to be in June, but this fixes that.

ahhh thompson 5 rd dec is 565.. that's lower than my 3 rd decision paid by like 100 points

wonder if they're going to keep the prior o/u's , props, ml's... all 3 still pending for me on 5d
 
Hit Makovsky dec +400. Will hit it again after Saturday.

The time to fade Benavidez is upon us, and I think makovsky by dec is a very likely outcome.

What did you see in Joe B vs Ali that makes you think now is the time to fade him? Not saying you're wrong, but he looked mostly the same as ever to me. Good in scrambles, good wrestling, generally gets his punches off first. Not sure I've seen enough from Fun Size to make me think he can beat Joe B. Need to watch a bit more of Zak to be fair.

Along with the same sentiments as EZ regarding Alpha Fail, I think Joe B. has hit a hard ceiling, and maybe even on the decline. These decision wins he gets are getting closer and closer and closer and I see it biting him sooner than later. Makovsky is a good candidate as I expect he can keep up in the scrambles and if he turns it into a range kickboxing match he can edge it out from there with a solid gameplan under Firas. I think Firas, right?

But yeah, pretty blah breakdown without tape but after the Ali and Moraga fights i've decided vs virtually anyone good i'd play Benavidez to lose by dec

I gotta watch a bit more of Zak and maybe the Moraga fight again for Joe (just watched the Ali fight). Maybe I'm underselling Zak a bit. TBD LOL.
