I bet 0.5 Vici Gaming to win ESL Frankfurt 2015 @4.0, then they looked so-so in the seeding tournament that doesn't mean squat and most teams just troll'd trough and I added another half unit at 7.5

VG is ranked as the 2nd best team in the world after Team Secret and has more or less the consensus best support pair in the world backed up by probably the best offlaner and a very solid mid and a very good carry.

They've looked a little bit shaky lately crashing out of MARSTV Dota2 League at 5th/6th losing 2-1 to both C9 and Empire, losing the finals of I-League 0-3 vs LGD and only getting 3rd in the Summit. Apparently they have some drafting and confidence issues.

However, I still rate them very high as far as individual skills goes and sooner or later they'll manage to hit a play style that suits them.

As far as the brackets goes they will face up against EG in the first game, which admittedly will be very hard but EG hasn't looked great lately either. While they did win a bo3 in the seeding, which as previously stated, no one really gave two shits about, they also managed to drop BO1's against Alliance and London fuckin' Conspiracy on their way to crashing out at in the group stage in MLG Pro League just a couple of weeks ago. Considering the teams in the groups EG should've won it 70% of the time and gotten on the top half even if they played drunk.

I also think that while EG has a drafting edge, VG has the kind of line up that can actually give EG a ton of trouble. They have solid enough solos that they can be very aggressive and not give space to EG, which in my opinion is the way to beat them.

If VG manage to get past EG they will be up against the winner or Alliance and Virtus Pro and while I'm a huge [A] fanboy [A] would more or less be a freewin and while VP is looking good both the teams are super aggro and VG is just better at it. I think they have a very good chance to reach the finals here. In a finals they'll probably be up against Secret or possibly C9, which are both very good, but would still be even games.

at 7.5x I think VG is a solid bet, and while the 4x bet in hindsight probably doesn't have much value I think that the higher odds certainly has a bit of value.

i don't get how people are laying 2:1 on backstrom here. that last fight doesn't make you the least bit hesitant..?

Isn't it very rare for a young fighter to be reckless twice in a row?

If anything I feel like that fight helped Backstrom settle down a bit and realize the value of being methodical.

A big reason for my confidence in this fight is Backstroms cardio and Lahat's seeming lack of ways to finish.

I've followed Backstroms career for a few years and the reason he won so many fights where he was the underdog is because he puts on a crazy pace that is unexpected at the regional level.

I expect Lahat to look like a fish on land if he makes it to round 3, that's certainly how he looked vs a lesser grappler in Siler.

Hate to see the new bettors in this thread posting their 5,6,7,8,9,10 fighter parlays.
Its a newbie mistake, one that even I was guilty of doing when I first started out betting MMA.

These parlays are literally giving free money to the books. Word to the wise: STOP the parlays it's a known fact they are - EV in the long run you will not make money!!

MLB 06/19

Gonna go with OneW and bet the Jays even though starter Estrada makes me nervous. They are just on fire right now though. Also gonna play the Padres.

My other play is a CWS/STL parlay.

BOL!

Sadly, I disagree. Looking at the X games results for EG, is kind of misleading, they threw a massive lead vs LC and just got caught out. EG are also known for starting slow and tend to lose the first game in bo3's.

Vici have looked piss poor for awhile now, and EG will be looking to make a statement after their X-Games failure. I agree that EG have the drafting advantage, I also feel they have the much better mid, in Sumail. I honestly see EG winning 2-1, but if Vici reach any of their old form, it's going to be tough for EG.

My prediction - EG 2-1.

Watching tape on Magomed Mustafaev right now...impressive. These Russian's don't fuck around.

Yes he shows some good raw talent but do you think he should be nearly favored against Hallman? imo it's not even up for debate.

Hallman is for sure the more developed and proven fighter. I still wanna go back and watch Hallman's fights before placing any bets, but I think his wrestling could give the Russian problems. That being said, Mustaev has been training at ATT so I expect improvements from him. FOTN candidate for sure.

Yup Magomed is a highly rated prospect coming in, I think he has much wind behind him since his last 2 guys were 8-1 and 9-1 guys including Nurmagoeds little brother who was undefeated, sure he does get taken down often but his scrambles, reversals and ability to mix it up is present in his other fights although those were against much poorer competition.

interview here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A59BZJes2z0
small cap: Says he thinks it will got 3rounds but he will look for the finish, hallman at a disadvantage due to 1 year layoff, looking forward to putting on a show for the fans.

Its a massive test for him coming in, hallman is tough, strong and durable... just a very solid all rounder loosing to al and tibau no shame in that those guys are beast and top 10-15 worthy and he some could argue he beat tibau.

I think magomed maybe more creative off his back and may pop back up he maybe able to outwork him in positions, scrambles and reversals off his back and on top to snatch a decision even.

Most of his fights are here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLyfl35f9xA&list=PLZw2mT9QRuazdG_BaV50FaxZMcHI1b8It

He looks like a 20 year old Russian Chael lol

I think ill live bet it in r1 see which guy is doing well... but I agree with bookies odds its anyone's fight.

Kind of crazy that jedrzejczyk is getting as much love as Honda

Penne +610 @ pinnacle

Does anyone think Kimbo/Ken u1.5-Pitbull-Lashley hits more often than not? Want to do a small Bellator parlay.

here it comes.. whenever joanna decides to go over.. she's playing mind games... haha, super awkward. not quite as much as the first two, tho... ok i take it back. they're giving eachother presents and both throwing them away, lol.
they're very similarly sized. joanna maybe 1" taller

...little liberal on red text, as really not anything notable

no weigh-in induced action for me.

That was very awkward with penne ripping up her gift and joanna pulling another one out that envelope, staged lol ?

i think it was something to do with the silver necklace for Penne and the gold one for JJ
