Anybody know what is up with lahat being listed as taller than Pepey's 5"7 when they fought and then coming in visibly shorter?

How big is Lahat?

Pepey is about 5'9-5'10. Lahat is about 5'8.

Magomed was controlled on his back for an entire fight his last time out and I actually don't even know what happened for him to win that one but something happened to his opponent.

Hallman has a pretty good TD game and just because he wasn't successful with it against Iaquinta or Tibau doesn't mean much in a fight against an unproven fighter only just entering the UFC, it's a world of difference. His TDD is all pretty darn good and even when he gets taken down he bounces back up pretty quick most times.

Like you said, it's his fight to lose and I honestly am not really too concerned with the roids stuff. Regardless of what happens in this fight there really isn't anything to justify how Magomed is -105 here against a proven opponent.

Interesting, did not see that fight with magomed yeah he is green and fought cans id expect hallman to be the stronger and better all round guy regardless. I am considering a large play on hallman at his current tempting odds still ;)

Arnold allen vs Alan Omer

Allen is coming in on a weeks notice with a 9-1 record mainly beat newbies/cans to get his record, 21 years old shows lovely trips in the clinch and good gnp when on top. His striking is not technical he also gets aggressive at times as he attempts to pressure guys going forward, he uses his reach well however.

Last few fights:

Alan Omer

Last fight:
http://www.ufc.tv/video/jim-alers-vs-alan-omer-ufc-fight-night

Omers a good all rounder, technical striking with his fast accurate jabs. Aggressive and pressure fighter also, he does have a few holes off his back but has improved his guard and scrambling, he showed this improvement in his last fight.

Tricky fight to predict I can see Arnold getting some trips and he is good on top with gnp and his control, he uses his long limbs well, Omer could easily land his fast jabs and strikes and out work arnold who is coming in with a weeks notice he is also fighting in omers back yard.

This fight all depends if arnold can clinch, get his inside trips and top control going otherwise id have to give alan the striking and output edge would not be surprised if alan gets a ko early r1 or r2.

same thoughts i had pretty much after watching tape.

i dont think the short notice will matter alot in this case however since Arnold barely cuts any weight and from looking on his twitter he seems to have been training hard even before he got this fight.

i might take a small bet on Arnold if he reaches +200

just noticed i only have bets on dogs so far.. hope they will bark as loud as they did in last event :)

Kawajiri
Fullen
Lahat
Dos Santos Jr.

and considering: Arnold,Lapilus,Patrick

How is Lapilus +205?

Lapilus has solid TDD, isn't a Japanese fighter, is a southpaw, way more active striker and will be the bigger fighter (dropping down a weight class)

Didn't realize Lapilus was dropping a class. Noice...

Lukasz Sajewski scouting report and super mini fight breakdown:

Lukasz is primarily a grappler. Most of his fights he just uses his strikes to close the distance for a TD. He has pretty good TD's and once he gets you to the ground, you aren't likely getting back up until the end of the round, or until you get subbed. His control is excellent, you will never see him going for a low percentage sub and risk losing position. He likes to work from side control and do some damage, before looking for his favorite sub, the armbar. Lukasz was able impressively out grapple Marcin Held in their fight, which says a lot about how good his grappling is. His striking is very basic, but he's only 24, so you can see pretty sizable leaps in his technique and arsenal every fight. His striking defense is pretty solid, as he is able to jump back out of the way of strikes, as well as move his head off the center line to avoid strikes. He also keeps his chin tucked well. His cardio also seems good, although he has only fought a full 3 rounds once.

The question is if Lukasz will be able to get Hein, whom has a judo background, to the mat. Hein has the better striking, so if Lukasz wants to get the win, he'll more than likely will have to be able to land TD's. Hein is heavily muscled and tends to slow down after the first round, which may lead to Lukasz being able to capitalize, and get easier TD's. Hein doesn't have a very good bottom game, so if he gets taken down, he's likely to stay there, especially with a guy like Lukasz on top of him.

This line seems spot on to me. I'm gonna wait to see how the movement pans out before making a play. Gun to my head, I take Lukasz though.

FBR is saying that Andrei is getting the next shot at the Dum , no dates yet

IF its true, do you think the bookies will respect AA ? He was a heavy dog in the last 2 fights he won, he has an ancient win over a completely different Dum, what do you guys think ? Im thinking Dum opens around -350, maybe higher ?

i have no idea what the line would be, honestly. i think a lot of people might still underrate Werdum citing that his win was mostly due to Cain's cardio issues and the long lay off being a factor

so does that mean JDS/AO is actually gonna happen? maybe Cain/Stipe too? those are all fun fights

werdum is gonna murder AA. i hope the books respect him, i won't :)

I'd like to see JDS/Reem, Stipe/Rothwell, and Cain/Hunt.

AA might go beastmode on him again
Werdum couldnt even finish Browne :P

Dum would probably win by TKO here, but AA def has a puncher's chance , being the faster , more powerful puncher

I'm fairly certain that if AA wins the UFC HW title in 2015, the worlds coming to an end.
