Yeah I don't forget that either but let's be clear about something and that is that a Petruzelli jab circa 2009 has more steam on it than any punch in the Shamrock repertoire -- and it is not even close. Ken is just so freaking slow but even if he does for a leg Kimbo will either get out of the way or just blast on him until he went unconscious. Sadly, Ken is doing this for nothing more than that paycheck is and I know this because he is eventaking a bareknuckle match against some Irish Youtube star that is basically a real life version of Mickey O'Neil. Indeed, Ken is planning to fight Brad Pitts Pikey Irish traveller character from Snatch after the Kimbo fight.

it wouldn't be surprising to me if Ken would throw a fight at this point of his career and I believe that he has already been in some questionable fights in the past. I'm not saying that he will our right through the fight, but I do not believe that he would take too much damage either and that means tapping to strikes or taking the first easy way out offered to him. Just look where Nate Marquardt is at 36 (?) and imagine if he were to fight for another decade and a half. Sure, Kimbo is A very poor mixed martial artist but when you are fighting against a guy who has already at the half-century mark you do not have to be Hall of Fame material.

It's all about this bro :

@iGnP : I got you

@iGnP : I got you 👌🏽

LOL did not know that about Shammy agreeing to fight the Irish gypsy boxer or whatever. That's pretty damn funny (sad? both?).

But yeah, in the end I agree. This really should be a squash match for Kimbo (as weird as that phrase sounds). I might not cap Kimbo at -850 like you do (even against geriatric Shammy I couldn't cap Kimbo THAT high), he still should probably be at least in the -500 to -600 range. That's where Chael was vs Jones, and while Chael was undersized and overmatched, he did have a pulse. Shamrock? Not much of one these days.

oh boyyyy, al better pray he can employ the one eyed alvarez strategy...if he can't he's gonna get wrecked :(

Bahahahaha

Gil should have this, hoping to get good odds on him based on his recent mental "lapse" and the short notice

Bellator Fighting Money Line Total Points
Bellator 138 - Heavyweight 3 rounds - Scottrade Center - St. Louis, Missouri - SpikeTV
Fri 6/19 3001 Ken Shamrock +205 o1

corrales seems pretty fearless, but not too fast.. might be a suuuuuuper bad matchup for him in straus...

"What if" Ken comes roided to the gills and has a bit of extra speed and endurance, just enough to grab a quick td

Man I don't know. I definitely wouldn't pay any serious juice on Gil in this spot. I think Al has a solid chance. I think he has a clear speed advantage and on his athleticism alone can be right there in this fight with a chance to win it.

I might lean ever so slightly Gil but I cap the fight fairly close to evens. I think Gil's best days are behind him.

...charles isn't impressive. also small for heavyweight. but he is kinda durable. and lashley isn't exactly polished, even still.. fights cautiously at times.. maybe O1.5 -120 here?

also, man, if it wasn't for campos getting tko'd by patricky freire a couple fights ago, i'd have been all over O2.5 -140.. but who the heck knows with chandler nowadays.. maybe if campos price rises, you kinda have to take a shot? even tho IF chandler is "all there" - it's an ACTUAL case of "one guy does everything better than the other guy" (unlike the 1000x i've heard that and it isn't true)

man, bella 138 is kinda shitty for betting.

hate that the freire-weichel line opened exactly where i didn't want it to.

good to have you back GF, I'm glad you didnt have to sell your beanie babies. i've been going back and forth on how to play this freak show. i was initially thinking of playing shamrock but then i snapped back into reality haha. will be with you for a unit or so on kimbo...i still cant believe this fight is actually happening.

Thanks efalk Ol' pal, I saw that you killed it last event. Is nice!! EZ killed it too, right after he had a shit event. I actually saw a lot of you guys eat it up. But yea, proper BR mngt means my bb are safe lol 😎

But yeah there's just no way in this world that I could play Can Shamrock that this point of his career it is just not happening.

as for UFC alphabets soup where The UFC brass should really be throwing a bonus to the announcer and graphics department for having to brave these crazy names -- I don't say a whole lot of great plays on there as far as underdogs like we have been getting lately. That said, I do think that there are a lot of safe place that are not juiced to hell and worth playing. I will break them down tomorrow as simple as possible as lifelike there are 5 Solid plays.

LOL at Can Shamrock. Same dude that seemed to be knocked down by an exhale from Rich Franklin back in 2007 or some year when I was a little warrior. Kimbo been fighting in the corners over some grams, so I'm sure he's serviceable.

I know Kimbo is gonna win but still Shamrock looks roided to the gills. Makes me hesitant.

lahat DEC +425 <-- me likely

and to a lesser extent:
allen dec +350
taisumov ITD +305
fullen DEC +487

Don't fall for this Tim because it does not matter how much roids shamrock comes in with. I mean you can bet your ass that he was Roided to the gills when he was fighting Buzz Berry in the UK's Cage rage promotion in '07 yet that did not stop Berry from dusting him in the first frame. Of course that was the only victory that Buzz had in his last five fights before he retired.

Again, let's be realistic, this is not a fighter like GSP who retired at the top of his game on a 10 fight winning streak and is coming back in what is essentially just outside of his prime or a fighter who has not taken too much damage. No, instead this is a 51-year-old man who has fought the bulk of his career on more steroids and supplements that the entire 1972 German Olympic weightlifting team. What's more, this is a fighter in shamrock who has only been victorious TWICE in the last 11 years And that was against fighters who wouldn't get a license to compete in the states even if the event were taking place on the most corrupt and poor Indian reservation in America.

I'd love to see Shammy win, but dudes getting smoked.

I'm with Goodfella. I cannot get the image of Buzz Berry easily stuffing Ken's takedown attempt eight years ago. Ken's chin is non existent even Sakuraba finished him with strikes and that was years ago. Waiting for Kimbo's KO line.
