Official Titanfall Thread

Just hit 2nd Generation last night and cant wait to make my way to 3G. I was writing a long review but my laptop died and deleted what I wrote, so Im gonna just give this game a 9/10. I was expecting a lot from this game and its delivered in every aspect other than the story. But, tbh, I don't think anyone expected too much of a story from a multiplayer-only game.
 
Worst campaign ever, I wish they left it out.

Chaingun w/Accelerator is my preferred primary weapon. The accelerator adds 90 rounds and increases the rate of fire. With Slaved Warheads and Fast Autoloader, I can fire off two salvos of warheads before having to reload my chaingun.

The chaingun is my main titan weapon, but Ill switch to the 40mm or Arc Cannon depending on the map and game mode. Don't care much for the plasma gun or grenade launcher.

Holy shit that looks fun. I never thought about it but I guess any time you are in teh Titan you are hip-firing. That will be different.

It all depends on the weapon. The weapon combo I mentioned above is ideal for spray-and-pray tactics, but the Railgun and 40mm aren't as efficient firing from the hip.
 
Anyone playing in PC should use SweetFX shader, cleans it up a bit with the SMAA and add needed color to the gray look.
 
Hey I was just showing some buddies this game and they asked if you called in a Titan, and someone killed you, can they steal your Titan?
 
I'm loving this game because it feels like a more evolved COD. The way COD is now, I don't even play it anymore, but TFall actually feels like it WANTS to help you play and get better at it. 8/10

Whenever you see Strychnine (me) on the XBone, it's usually my son. All he plays are the campaign missions because "They're fun!" and he's a BeAsT. I'm going to jump on before the card starts tonight.
 
I am loving the shit out of this game if I could change anything it would be minor things, I would get rid of the bots. They are unnecessary , distracting , and do nothing to aide the gameplay. I also would nerf the jump kick , should not be a insta kill. I am good with sneaking up and snapping the neck but a head on jump kick should not be insta kill.

Especially how it seems that you can do it from 10 feet away sometimes.

It just seems to eliminate alot of potentially epic close quarter fire fight action. I know if I come head on into another pilot the first thing Im doing is Jump Kicking. It is overpowered.

Yeah I think it's definitely overpowered. I've been killed by guys kicking me while I"m unloading into their chest.
 
I've been to 2 stores and this game is sold out. I am gonna get it though. Fo Sho
 
I have a ps4, but the very first Xbox was my favorite system after the Sega Saturn. Would u guys recommend getting an x1 just for this game?

It's a fun game, but no, not worth buying a system for.

I have it on PC btw.
