I really hope Tyson Fury doesn't retire. I'd like to see he and Joshua fight.

kind of hilarious how he gets stopped by the most white guy in the world, after that super "black power" entrance

on Black history month too

Wilder tried to make this fight racial and got murked lul

I'm so glad Wilder apologists cant blame the ref. That towel tho

Everyone acting like this shit did NOT start from a ILLEGAL punch to the BACK of head. Fury should have been DQ.

Nah, he snuck the punch over the top around Wilders guard.

Fury was fighting dirty in the clinch, and he lost a point for it, but the knockdown was clean.

All these people complaining about the stoppage not realising the corner threw in the towel....

That's what I'm wondering. I see tons of posts about "good stoppage" or "early stoppage" or "ref did something right/wrong". Wilder's corner stopped the fight by throwing in the towel.

Well, one thing is to figure out that Wilder would be vulnerable if properly walked down, but actually doing it is entirely different.

I get why he wanted to go out on his shield, but his corner saved him from getting KOed

Yea, his offence was very much lacking the few rounds. I still think it's early for the ref to stop the fight. If you're going to stop it for lack of action, then you need to call a break in the action and warn the fighter that they need to fight back, or you will stop the fight. I don't think I saw that, so if the ref just stopped it on his own, that was a little early.

But it seems like the corner threw in the towel, so that's legit. They know their fighter better than anyone. If they say he's done, then he's done.
It was a towel thing, as Wilder's corner requested to stop the fight.

So Fury has beaten him twice. First time on points, but pretty clearly up a couple/few points, this was total domination. No need for another, but it would end the same as this one. He knows Wilder can't take his shots if he sits down on them, now. Hope we get to see it again. Fury stops him in 5 if they go again. Wilder may not want no more of that, though.

Fury destroyed Wilder in all aspects of the game, made great use of the jab, his reach and his weight advantage. A truly commanding victory. We knew that Fury was the better boxer of the two, but I did not expect this level of spanking, I thought that Wilder would be able to connect and make Fury run out of gas.

Even tho I also thought Wilder would catch him I knew with both of them coming in quite a bit heavier Fury could give him hell if he grappled and fought inside a little bit. That's a lot of mass to be moving around and Wilder doesn't like a high output fight.

No, what you're proposing is bad referring.

It's also pretty inhumane. Wilder was given every chance in the book to bounce back... But he was just too far gone. He could barely maintain his balance.

We don't need someone to get knocked out cold for ur fucking entertainment and sick pleasure to end a fight.

Fury won decisively.

PS replay shows Towel was thrown. Even Wilder's corner knew it was over

Im a filthy casual when it comes to boxing and I have zero issues with this stoppage

Fury killed those legs with all the leaning and dominated. Crafty SOB.
