You can see from the stills posted earlier where it landed. It was not on the back of the head. Likewise thinking "the punch came from behind Wilder" is imo pure delusion, you might as well be talking about seeing fairies.
Well Fury does has crazy reach. Crazy enough to stand a couple feet in front of his opponent and still throw a punch that comes from behind him, without his opponent illegally turning his back.

FYI

You CANNOT stand in the pocket in front of someone who is looking at you, and punch them in the back of the head... unless you are Dhalsim or some shit

What a beautiful performance by Fury. Absolutely dominated Deontay.

I feel like Deontay wont be the same after that, but I hope he comes back strong. He’ll need time to recover, and will be 35 by the time he fights again. He’ll always be dangerous, but I dont think he will be discussed as being the #1 guy again. I hope im wrong, im a fan of this dude inside and out of the ring.

Fury with a legendary performance. This guy is a special human being. It will be memorable, and will go down in history as a highlight of this era in boxing. At 6’9, 273 lbs he boxed masterfully...really showed his skills, experience, and understanding of the nuances in the sweet science. A standout personality, with outstanding skills, and he looked strong as hell. His conditioning looked on point. He was flowing. Incredible performance.

Hope we can see Fury v Joshua next. Joshua looked masterful in AJ v Ruiz 2....it will be a great fight.

Exciting fight. Wilder didn't recover from that unintentional punch to the back of the head, but that's how it goes sometimes. Fury had the better game plan and it payed off. It will be interesting to see if Wilder finally hires a different trainer.

Fight is already on youtube.

Here it is time stamped with a the slo mo replays of the first knockdown.

Its still an illegal blow you goober. That is not what happened, either way. Wilder reacted to the jab, his head was already in that position when Fury throws.
Max Kellerman just repeated almost word for word what I've been saying here in this thread. on ESPN. He sees it too and the entire team there agreed.

Wilder turned his head as the jab was coming, are you just supposed to pull your punches now when someone turns their head.

on Black history month too

Wilder tried to make this fight racial and got murked lul
i'm black (no dog in this fight though) and this whole debacle has given me a good laugh. all of the denial, excuses, and overall salt has been amazing.

I CONSUMED ALL OF THE EBONY FLESH... DELICIOUS SECRETIONS...

That is clearly not what happened. Wilder threw a jab that missed and Fury's shot came in and landed on the back of the head. He was already in that position as he was there from the missed jab. Like I said, the punch came from behind Wilder's back. It is ridiculous that people are saying thats not the case.

Yeah what makes it weird is Wilder is a super humble and likable guy when hes not promoting. But when it gets to promotion he turns into a cringelord

I haven't really seen anyone making excuses for Wilder. Pretty much everyone is impressed with Fury and disappointed in Wilder.

Punch to the back of the head, loaded gloves

Yeah he turned his head from punch and got hit in the back of the head lol, the only person to blame is Wilder's shitty deference. You should drink some water.

Thanks for agreeing he got hit on the back of the head. I don't really care why it landed there.

especially he tries to get wordy but ends up sounding like a buffoon.

my bad on that i was more so referring to folks i know, casual fans, and the social media stratosphere.
IE:
