can someone tell me why bayless took the point away?

Bayless had warned them previously between rounds to listen to his instructions, and then I think in the 4th he had told them both that he would take a point away if they didn't break when he told them to break as up to that point Fury was often holding and not being keen to let go immediately. And then, what directly led to the point being taken, was when Fury threw an uppercut a second or so into Bayless having his hands on the fighters when breaking them apart. So I thought it was a fair call.

Wilder pissed the gypsy king off talking about him wanting commit suicide. Then got a face plant LOL

BOMB SQAUD!!!!!! LOL

i'd argue it's a bit like the garcia-matty deal where lucas was rocked by a shot that kinda was borderline on the back of the head before getting knocked down (not sure if you remember it's kinda an obscure comp)

but the shot only landed because Lucas kinda ducked his head. I think it's the right call to call it a KD
I guess I'm not mad it was a KD. Just that people are pretending its OK to hit a guy on the back of the head because they are Fury fans.

It wasn’t officially called illegal, so it counted, if it was if wouldn’t have, which means 1 point less for Wilder.
so you thought that one was illegal and I thought this one was illegal. You want to make out now?

Floyd told him he bet on Wilder before the fight.

personally, i think boxing wanted another controversial decision so they had to skew it in favor of Wilder.

I don’t have a problem with either, simply pointing out the irony.

Depends, you secretly a hot girl.

He took a couple of 10-8s. I'm still ahead on the cards.

I see you're using Wilders excuse book as well. You're a loyal fan I give you that , delusional but loyal none the less

Tremendous performance by Fury. Wilder needs more than that right hand.
Having said that, Joshua beats both of them and is the best HW on the planet.
Ruiz is number 2

I think the point he was probably alluding to is that if you held that first knockdown in the first fight to the same standards you're holding the first knockdown in this rematch, then you would have been of the opinion that both were illegal.

Most people do not think either were illegal, but being inconsistent in how you appraise the two knockdowns suggests some bias or otherwise an error in thinking.

Wilder's defense was so poor it didnt matter if Fury did land behind the temple or back of head....eventually he would of put him down again with a straight shot. Wilder went down to a straight body shot. He was falling down just from the wind of Fury's punches. He had zero legs tonight. A ton of heart though

Must be why Joshua has ducked Fury and Wilder for so long

Nah, a lot of people just didn't understand that all I was saying that he got hit with an illegal blow. Like I said, is a low blow illegal, even if its unintentional? Yes or no.

Punch was behind the ear and it made his eardrum leak out fruit punch

Bayless was breaking the fighters and they weren't listening to him.

He told them that he'd take a point away if it continued.

Fury continued and threw a late punch on the break. So, a point was taken.

It doesn't need any conspiracy to justify that sequence of events.

Furys clinch work was outstanding. Things like tying up when he was backed into the corner and when the ref breaks it up, he moves around so that Wilders backed into the corner when they start.
Wilder had no idea or even noticed things like that.
That was ring iq and a veteran move of someone whos been boxing his entire life.
Good job to Fury.
But AJ stops him in 6
