They sometimes weigh-in officially backstage and then do the ceremonial weigh-ins that are open to the public. Not that this matters—they're heavyweights. As long as both are over 200 lbs the commission doesn't care what they weigh. The only exception is if there's a weight stipulation in the bout agreement itself.

If I lost $$ on a bet on a fighter that misreported his weight I'd be pissed.

281 is a joke. I added more to my Usyk bet. I think it is one of the great betting lines with Fury at 281 now. 270 might have given me pause. There is a real good chance at 281 he is cashing out.
Now I assume he isn't showing his body because he is not in shape and going to look bad when the bell rings.
The chance of Usyk by late stoppage just went way up IMO. Fury is going to have no gas tank late at 281 against Usyk's super human gas tank.

I hope I am wrong because I actually hate Usyk. It just takes this HW era down several notches for me if Usyk wins. To have never then gotten a dangerous Wilder vs Usyk fight is just terrible. A 220lb early 30s Wilder would have been the problem style that Usyk should have gone through for all time greatness.

Wilders a manufactured can crusher, who got found out every time he fought ‘genuine’ contender level fighters. Why would anyone want to see him in with Usyk? It would be a huge fuckin Mismatch

The way I look at a fight like this is if someone gave me a billion to bet on the fight, which fighter would i genuinely bet on. In this case it would be Usyk, as much as I want Fury to win and will bet on him, it's a heart rather than head bet. If I had to risk a billion, it would be Usyk, so I see an Usyk win, but would be delighted if this doesn't happen.

i cant see past a Usyk win, i think if Tyson tries to box him, it will be very close, but Usyk will just manage to do enough, and i think if Tyson tried to finish him, we could see him just run out of gas and tire badly at the end of the fight

but, these guys are big units, so anything can happen, especially when they are at the level of this pair

it all depends on Furys conditioning, either of them arent exactly youngsters and one of them might just reach into the well and find no more water left
