Paragraphs are helpful for grouping the arguments you are trying to convey. But you knew that as someone who doesn't eat McDonald's or watch Netflix.
It was a large coherent thought. It's fine. Also, what is a thought? I will quickly digress.

Completely aside from Paul, Nate looked limp as linguine out there. I would not be surprised if his training camp consisted of 3 months of sitting on a couch ripping a bong, laughing about getting paid millions to get in the ring and get punched repeatedly while flexing for the crowd. God bless America
Yeah I guess believing in that would help fans accept the loss a little better.

The guy obviously never trained a day in his life in bjj. How can you imagine an mma fight between a bjj black belt and a rookie in bjj going in another direction than to the one of the bjj vet ?!
Troll thread anyway
You're missing an important but clearly overlooked aspect to this...

The bjj black belt needs to actually be willing to use his bjj in order to have that advantage. Nate's committing to a takedown. That should be your answer. Is that what will happen?

Mr stand and taunt for 20 years will now, in fear of another man's power and skill, commit to putting his crotch in Disney channel's Very Own Jake Paul in order to ensure a victory?

MMA on life support right now…

Main event for FN was just one of the worst stinkers in main event history

Another supposed good MMA boxer just got pieced up by a YouTuber… goes to show you MMA is full of D-Level athletes

no cap

You talk about people being idiots and then come up with this gem:
" The only reason topics and threads like this get censored is because this is a multi million dollar business"

If you post about boxing in the UFC forum it gets "censored" by being dumped...
Or for being low quality. Probably more for the low quality than anything.

If you believe you are being censored for speaking the truth, I have a bridge to sell you.

I don't know how good Jake Paul's wrestling actually is, but if he focused on a few specific trips or takedowns that had a high percentage chance to land in side control or half guard he could stay safe.

It is pretty damn difficult to submit a guy if they have a dominant position.

I can only think of 2 times when someone pulled off a sub on a guy with "dominant position" which for the sake of argument let's call it - mount, side control, half guard, back mount, side mount

Frank Mir - Mir Lock - Pete Williams
Mir in bottom 1/2 guard

Aleksi Oleinik - Ezikiel Choke
Bottom with opponent in mount
(I forget against who)

There may be others, but it is pretty damn difficult to submit without having a strong position and Nate has got pretty terrible wrestling and gives up a significant amount of size, strength, age and athleticism to Jake Paul.
You may be right, though I think some early wrestlers from the 90s may have been subbed from dominant positions. I think there's risk in going for a TD, though--just the possibility of a brief scramble where you could get submitted. I think of Tony and Conor taking down Nate in desperation, and Cyborg doing the same to Nick and all getting submitted.

After seeing Nate on the mic post fight he should really give serious consideration to retiring from combat sports. These pumpkin head beatings can't go on forever with out serious repercussions.

you can think what you want. I watched the Logan fight and in my mind there's no question that he just couldn't put Logan away

Lol. Logan ducked and hugged every time Floyd got close.

Keep telling yourself that.

Lethal amounts of copium being ingested in here.

I love how triggered the MMA community gets over Jake Paul <45><45><45>

I mean, Nate just looked awful in his last MMA fight against a washed Tony Ferguson. I love Nate, but his best days are behind him, and he spent the majority of his career fighting at 155. I had no inkling of Diaz beating a young guy in his prime that he’s giving up 30 lbs to. All things considered he looked pretty good tonight.

You definitely strike me as the kind of guy who thinks he's the smartest one in the room even when that's regularly not the case.

Was dog shit but not a sparring session, definitely a real fight, also everyone who knew anything knew Paul would win but go ahead and suck yourself off if that makes you feel important.

Seriously, Nate's boxing is horrible if we're talking about straight boxing. He throws flurries that look cool sometimes and has a chin, that's about it. What effectiveness it has in MMA doesn't translate at all. This was like a one sided wmma fight.
