Plant showed a lot out there. He needs to learn to disengaged and conserve energy without becoming a punching bag. Generally speaking, no point in pitching a shut out for six rounds if you're going to fall apart late. Start slower, don't fight every second of each round and use distance more efficiently. Might still have a title run in him.

You should look up a guy named Bivol. Then realize that Canelo will probably rematch him as well.
Benavidez finally stepped up and got a big win.
Charlo should do similar.
Then Canelo may bless them with a red panty night.
Even Floyd backhandedly says Canelo has earned the right to pick & choose at this point.

Canelo couldn't destroy a 40yr old GGG. Canelo fans live in a fantasy land. I've learned there's the hypothetical Canelo that "destroys" everyone. Then there's the real Canelo that gets schooled by Bivol and goes 12 rounds with a 40yr old fighter he was also supposed to "destroy". There's a reason Canelo is fighting trash can Ryder instead of Benavidez.

I believe that Benavidez would have knocked Plant on his ass were it not for terrible officiating. Bayless did not do a good job. But Canelo is doing his usual ducking of touch opponents. When Canelo runs into adversity he ducks. Immediate rematch with Bivol? Nope. Immediate rematch with GGG? Nope. Immediate rematch with Lara? Nope. Huge Cinco De Mayo fight with Benavidez? Nope. I for one do not like the very idea of ignore lists but the one inductee I voted in over more than 20 years made the whole experience better, that's for sure.
