It's not hard to believe in a sense that it's a "sport" that effectively generates highlight reels like no other sport. If you watch a 48 minute basketball game you might get 3-4 awesome plays.

Powerslap matches are quick and often meme worthy. I believe that's the strategy and market they are going for here.
