Multiplat Official Remnant II Discussion

Still in the Yharnam-Esque level. I died fairly far into the Ironsborough part and didn't feel like shooting everything again so I took a break.

On my apocalypse run, I got into the habit of jumping in dungeons I knew I was skipping just to hit the checkpoints, because early on before I had my build more or less optimized, every single mob felt like a boss fight. Also worth keeping in mind that you can just run away from mobs; Getting hit doesn't interrupt travel through doors.

B, who in your opinion is the easiest boss to no-hit? @BEER

For world bosses, Nightweaver is probably the easiest. I know that sounds insane. She FEELS fast and a hectic, but every move is super telegraphed and slow. Corruptor is a second choice, but only if you don't count the shitty butterfly divebombs.

In general, Bloat King (great sewer boss) is easy enough to not get hit. Mother Mind on Yaesha as well. Probably a bit tougher, but Magister Dullain is pretty simple.

Keep in mind that my playstyle isn't "don't get hit".

Started a new character to go for items that you can't get otherwise. I'm gonna find those last few rings dammit! Tryna unlock literally every bit of loot.

Did you get the rarer relic that requires the lucky roll on story-mode only of Seeker's Rest and Morrow Parish? Tormented Heart, I think the name.

There are more than 20 relics, iirc, and I've only 15 so I remember finally giving up and googling (*shame flogging, *shame flogging); some of the cryptic, more multistep stuff is too arbitrary to figure for me without previous in-game solutions to analogise from.

Get those remaining dozen rings either way, dawg. Strong work.

How many hours right now have you got under your belt for all chars/savefiles combined?

Sleeper GOTY right here. Real talk. I can't stop playing. Loot goblins rise up.

Also, this game has the most realistic char model collision animations I've ever seen. Bodies are struck and fall responsive to tens of immediate environments; the way NPCs are in-world animated and then interacted with is seamless for the player, to add. It's so immersive.

Love the weight and impact of jump too. Always hated QTE-lite treatment of traversal. Some jumps in this are epic and feel badass as you cling for life and hoist yourself up.

Powerpyx has a relic guide on his site, and that says 21 so your pretty much 3/4's there

Shoot, I want the lot. The self-defeating part is I really only switch from amongst about 3 of them because most are very niche, playstyle-demanding pieces.

I'm sitting at a very sweaty 340 hours. I got the Tormented Heart but used it to craft the Tranquil Heart. I'll get Tormented again on my second character that I'm using to get loot you can only get once or not at all due to choices and shit. The only two relics I'm missing I need to do on a new character. Tormented and Ripened.

Agreed on all counts. This is the only game I've put real time into all year. Part of that is financial, but my general interest hasn't been there for anything else.

At the moment, I'm streaming on Discord for my buddy who got his wisdom teeth out and needs entertainment. I melted Apoc Tal Ratha and now I'm shooting for Ravager.

I only use one of them lmfao

I'll switch it up when I try a damage build, but Crystal is goated for tanking.

50 bucks for this game was so epic. Bless that crew.
Love third person shooting , I played first person shooters for too long.. this was a legendary breath of new action!

This is the first third-person shooter I've really been able to dig into. I was an FPS guy for so long.

I’m about burned out but I’m definitely going to revisit when the DLC comes out. I read possibly Q4 of this year of early next.

was one of my favorite gaming experiences in a long long time.
Same.. I'm not exactly burnt out but I have collected all of the gear I am interested in, so I'll put this on the shelf until DLC comes out.

Like Crystal a lot myself too. That, Void, and Dragon are my go-to three. Invader has become my main class now and unlike Challenger (still my boy!), I really have to adapt sometimes relic-wise because I’m squishier.
