Two new welcome page wallpapers just dropped: BF6 (soldier silhouette against crimson sky with airborne jets) and a sport one.

Both animated and looking slick.

Hearing a lot of news about PS6 releasing in 2027. Was kind of hoping for 2028 since that would mark exactly four years since the release of the Pro. Either way I’ll probably be there day one. Just wonder how exclusivity is going to be on launch. Hard to imagine they put a bunch of high budget games on it that reach such a small audience. I could see another Astro game making it there on day one. Saw Bluepoint is hiring for a third person action game so that’s probably way out. I truly have no idea what the launch for this thing would look like.

If we get any exclusives I expect 1 at most. I personally think Bloodborne remake would be perfect for hype. Bloodborne 2 even better but no way that happens. I'll be there day 1 no matter what though. Probably keep my PS5 this time around though and move it to the bedroom even though I hardly ever want to game in there.

Nioh 3 is now available for preorder from store, I see. Code Vein II, too.

I think I remember CV I being available through Plus catalogue. I played the demo (or beta?) back when but passed. Wonder if I should give another shot.

I kinda don't want it this soon. Hope they bring some of the stuff we had before. A browser for one. Which I used it quite a bit on the ps4 and ps3. Custom themes and wallpapers. A day one back button controller.

Demons Souls has had its Low Power setting update

You can also set it per game basis in the PS5 OS

I thought it was very weird that they were getting all this low power mode stuff ready so early. Then recently I was listening to a podcast where the guy said there is rumors the handheld will come out first and then the PS6. Which would make all this low power mode stuff they are testing right now make a lot more sense. If the PS6 is 2027 would could be seeing the handheld at some point next year.

Anyone else been following or interested in ARC Raiders? Shooter-scavenger play. Looks really good to me and gives me Division 2 (DC) vibes when in freeroam or then Dark Zone when in extract.

Launches in less than a fortnight now, this Halloween.

I was so hyped when the original trailers dropped. It looked so cool. I was bummed when they flipped from PvE to extraction.

I'll still give it a shot though.

I wasn’t 100 they completely scrapped the vE. Shame. Was hoping for a middle ground like Hunt: Showdown. Still looks fun though.

I thought there was still some in there, but I'm not 100% sure. What I found funny is that they removed it I believe prior to Helldivers II dropping thinking extraction would be the bigger draw.

From what I played it's exactly like Hunt Showdown. Except it had a lot more encounters than I ever did in Hunt. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the progression system.

I got a chance to jump into Arc Raiders a few times this weekend on PC after randomly getting an invite. I actually had a really fun time playing it, even though the game barely explains anything. At one point, I was on a rooftop with my binoculars watching this guy take on two Arcs in the distance, it was hilarious watching him run around while two flying drones tried to chase him down.

The game definitely seems built for teams, but solo play was still a good time. The only thing I can see being an issue is finding the time to really learn all the systems. It feels pretty deep, and without putting in a lot of hours, I can see how easy it’d be to fall behind.

I found this video to be really good that helps explain the Lore.
