No way they don’t have at least one big game. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finally reveal Bloodborne remake similar to how they waited two generations to do a Demons Souls remake. I’m not one of those guys expecting it at every showcase either. I’ve always suspected that if they’re going to do that one they’re going to have it as a launch title to get the eyes on them. Might be what Bluepoint is up to since the live service stuff was axed.

I agree and on record here in the past have said BbII will never be the mid-gen title that hunters expect at every showcase; it will be something more.

Can absolutely see PS6 being that ‘more’ and moment.

I know sales weren’t GoW or Uncharted calibre but it’s become cultic at this point with daily fan art still coming out. Sony knows. Not many games draw this kind of player passion, adoration, dedication.

It’s also one of the only titles I genuinely want a remaster of so would also be happy with that. Will pay any price. The game is so special from storytelling, philosophy, and lore to world, aesthetic, and challenge that I’m not entirely sure a sequel would live up to expectations. It’s frankly a masterwork, IMHO. Miyazaki’s crowning achievement. Maybe in this light wishing for anything other than a remaster or remake is…shortsighted, or self-defeating. A Mona Lisa is painted but once.

If they do it then yea it will just be one game IMO. Bloodborne would be a great pick. I don't know though so many people are still on the PS4 I see things getting even worse with the PS5.

I've already pre-ordered myself so as tempting as it is, I'm just paying as little as possible mind to cool stuff like this.

Reckon anyone on the fence about preordering should watch to make a decision, though.

My mind was made the minute I'd learnt we have four WPNs now and one of which being the kusarigama. Dude, it's going to be so stylishly savage and rad. October seems unreasonably far off, unfortunately.

I’m definitely watching. We haven’t seen anything on this game. The world will be so huge there’s no possible way they’ll spoil much in 20 minutes. Probably just show combat in a camp area and show off the new foraging and a couple side activities. Not sure how they can even spoil much due to the repetitive nature of open world games. They’d have to deliberately show a spoilery cutscene and I doubt they’ll do that. Having trouble recalling them doing anything like that for Ghost of Tsushima. The trailers weeks away from release are the ones you avoid because that’s their final marketing push trying to get to anyone on the fence still. Anything with “final” trailer or “launch” you avoid like the plague. Especially if it comes from a company called Square Enix lol

Tried to see if this game was fixed yet cause I know it released with a ton of issues and it still seems to need some work. I'll probably wait and see what people think after release before getting this.

I downloaded Call of Prypiat from Plus and enjoyed it but it got (very) repetitive.

It plays best as a survival horror game, IMO, rather than a shooter. Don't think I'll be playing Clear Sky or Shadow of Chornobyl.

My highlight from Call of P was this cave I'd discovered during an emissions storm whose deepest end point was a sad, makeshift home to this man, now grossly mutated and bandaged. It was so eerie and I felt awful killing him after exchanging some words there in the dark and his warning me to end it or else. That was one of those gaming moments I'll likely remember for the rest of my life.

It says late 2025. Game came out in November. That’s a lot longer than 3 months.

In any event, happy to see it coming over, I hope it sells well on PS5 and that they can do something good for the Pro.

Yea I tried it on PC once but it was so hard and I just wasn't in the mood for that so I dropped it. Was really looking to dive into #2 but with the way the game released and how long the dev seems to be taking to fix it I'm not sure when I'll get it.

In the Apple vs Epic case it came out that Microsoft paid for 3 months exclusivity but the dev's were concentrating on Xbox and PC anyway to begin with (which probably ended up as a good thing with the issues it had at launch)

Fair enough. Either way, I hope that taking their time pays off for PS5 players and that we get the game in better shape than in it was in at launch on Xbox and PC.

Risk of Rain is great. Cyberpunk and Banishers are on my wishlist. I think it’s one of the better months this year. Might try planet zoo as well

Yea my son loves it. I'm not on PS+ extra anymore but he would be all over that. I downloaded some paw patrol games from PS+ extra once and he couldn't stop playing them.

My son doesn't mind it but would never ask to watch it. He's more obsessed with Hot Wheels, Sprunki, Gumball and SpongeBob. I wish he was into superhero's because we could watch X-Men and Batman. He is getting into Star Wars little by little which is cool.
