To my peeps here that have played Forza on xbox, should I be picking that up day 1 for ps5?

I'm not a racing car guy so don't put to much weight on my opinion. I straight up did not like Forza. It's to much of an arcade racer to me which I don't enjoy. There didn't appear to be any real progression system and they just throw cars at you left and right with no real sense of earning anything.

GT7 is more up my alley cause you have to earn cars and some levels I can't even race on because I don't have the right car to do it so I need to save up for it. They have progression system and all of that.

With that said The Crew 2 is very similar (some people say it's better) and if you like that then I would say you will like Forza as well maybe even more. The Crew 2 has a free 5 hour trial so you can try it out and see if you like that style of racer.

I've heard nothing but great things so I will buy it later down the road with a discount so I can get all the DLC for cheaper. I just don't want to pay 99.99 for a 4 year old game when there's so much other stuff coming out. GT7 is a great game too but it's far more realistic. I think both games compliment each other very well and there's a lack of arcade racers on the PS5 so I'd say go for it if you have the money and nothing else interests you at the moment. It's one of the best reviewed Xbox games to this day and I heard it runs extremely well on the Pro if you have that. Even if you don't base game runs well too according to Digital Foundry.

I have Horizon 3, 4, and 5 on PC. All excellent games.

Driving mechanics are excellent and there's a lot to do. There's an in game community that shares car designs, upgrades, and custom races/events. Lots of replay value as the game is always evolving.

My favorite racing series, by far.

I appreciate all the answers on Forza, definitely helped give me alot of things to consider. I have room for a random fun game in my rotation so might give it a try.

Trying to fit in something less stressful to have as a palette cleanser for Doom lol.

Went to look at MGS Delta: Snake Eater preorder and 80€? Oof. The remake is all but guaranteed to rock but 40-60€ is my fair remake window.

Seems like in between. Game is staying mostly the same but with graphics built from the ground up.

Reminds me of Demon’s Souls.

I think most of these remasters are for the hardcore fans only.

Probably a day one for me. I like the fact that it doesn’t hold your hand. The world seems mysterious and I’m always up for a unique experience. Combat looks like it has promise and the OST is going to be great from what we’ve heard so far. Gives me a month to beat it before Yotei comes out. Glad they aren’t too close together. Going to preorder Yotei on May 2 as soon as they allow it.
