Cool game but been a while since I played it. By layout you mean HUD/UI or button rebind?Evil West would be great if you could change the layout....

Like if the melee and shotgun button were switched. I don't like having melee on the triggers..Cool game but been a while since I played it. By layout you mean HUD/UI or button rebind?
Are you on Edge or vanilla DualSense? Edge you can rebind to your heart's content and have back-paddle or R1 shotty-blast instead, which is what I prefer. If vanilla, in game check settings for controller scheme and see if you can play with action-to-button mapping.Like if the melee and shotgun button were switched. base model. I think being able to swap out the the sticks is cool to. Not about to drop like 100$ for it thoughAre you on Edge or vanilla DualSense? It's disappointing not all games allow for this owing to accessibility and assistive design being so main-stage nowadays in anything interactive media.
I'm near endgame in Jedi: Survivor right now, for example, and can only play on my Edge because I found the default button mapping for the game to be bad or unintuitive, especially with the way Force abilities and dash work. If you have any hand strain too in longer sessions, I can't recommend the Edge enough.
Funny you mention this because just today someone elsewhere recommended it. The physical disc apparently comes with cool vanity like a map and cyberpunk-stylised postcard whatnot. What’s the combat like? I’m assuming it’s a shooter.Anyone had a chance to play The Precinct? I was able to spend about an hour playing and I enjoyed it alot. Not sure if it'll have long term legs with how the game is strict on following the same procedures but im assuming story will evolve to open up a bit more decision freedom.
Well, Solid is of course protag’s military call sign but the ‘metal gear’ part, I don’t know TBH. Reminds me of heavy mech, artillery.Random Thought: What does Metal Gear Solid even mean?
It's a shooter but you can also get your baton out, tackle people, there are some simple options to defend yourself with non lethal force.Funny you mention this because just today someone elsewhere recommended it. I thought it was just mechs made of metal. I think gear is the term they use to describe them. Never played the seriesWell, Solid is of course protag’s military call sign but the ‘metal gear’ part, I don’t know TBH. Reminds me of heavy mech, artillery.
Pretty much. Metal Gear is the walking tank that you're originally tasked with destroying. There are different models throughout the series, and in some games, like MGS3, there isn't even a Metal Gear.I thought it was just mechs made of metal. Some new gameplay of Where Winds Meet.
I agree. I'm put off by the game now. Can't see it but keep in mind the game has already fully released in China since December 2024 so realistically you could watch the entire game online. I remember hearing it had live service stuff like daily logins. Not sure if it's really for me anymore. It also released on phones. Normally games like that have watered down combat. Definitely a wait for review game for me. The Chinese games I'm most excited for are Phantom Blade Zero , Lost Soul Aside, and Tides of Annihilation.
I think I read you have until November of next year to redeem your points but anyone reading this may want to verify that themselves,Sony is apparently reworking the Stars programme again so it will be going offline mid July without any announced relaunch date. If you've Stars, redeem sooner rather than later.
You can get full games for 2K-12K Stars; for example, HFW full game orbits 12K. You can also get trophies for your trophy case (Bloodborne, God of War et cetera) as well as store credit to buy whatever games you want.
I just exhausted mine this morning for store cash after recently getting the Bloodborne pin. All Stars items redeemed, Sony continues, are yours indefinitely and not tethered to the programme itself.
Ah, that’s plenty of time if the case.I think I read you have until November of next year to redeem your points but anyone reading this may want to verify that themselves,
Peak Kojima incoming:
After 20 hours of DEATH STRANDING 2, I can confidently say Hideo Kojima is set to deliver one of the best games of his career.
The gameplay ideas from DS1 are deeply refined, and Kojima has infused the sequel with huge MGS-like action set pieces that are sure to delight fans.
