Probably someone not ok with what this will ultimately lead to. Which I understand but honestly this all just seems inevitable to me.
Don’t feed the troll. Every other post is a tailored hit job on hardware or software he doesn’t like.

Lol @ YouTuber comments being literal headline source. Ghastly, rancid…melodramatic.

Innovators innovate; boundaries pushed and pulled back. You know the score. Whether artificial intelligence is destined for tech boneyards or not, it’s the current apple of everyone’s eye – not just Sony’s. Maybe Sony can be one of the few to do something cool (and ethical) with the tech, though.

Not me because I already have The First Berserker Khazan preordered for the 24th and then Expedition 33 next month. I'm pretty much booked up until mid-summer so I think I'll get it on discount at some point this year. I think it will review in the mid 80s. It will look great on PS5 Pro. So do you choose the character in the beginning or does the game make you play as both?

Yes it mostly does. It’s not to confusing of a story.
I'm four or five hours in. Seem to be nearing the end of Chapter 2 which is the furthest I've ever been. A lot of people say it gets better at Chapter 3. Considering that I'm enjoying it a bit more this time around I think I'll see it through to the end. The story has me interested. This game looks amazing even though it's like 5 or 6 years old already. Really wondering how the sequel will look on the Pro. Forbidden West blows my mind on it and it's the same engine.

Is DS2 a day one game for you?

Wanted to reply when you first inquired. But the forum stopped working for me again for a few days.

Its not a unique story. Just unique in the gameplay loop and studio budget to tell such a story. Needs to be tiptoed around since it can easily be spoiled.

I feel the opposite. That the story is unique. Bridge babies? I mean who would have thought of this stuff. The gameplay is just like those other simulator games that are out there like farming, truck, etc just with a hiking theme and resource management is as typical in that genre. I'll try to avoid spoilers but since the game is confusing I think it's somewhat difficult to spoil it lol.

Yea DS2 is 100% day 1 for me. It didn’t take me long for the game to hook me which was surprising. I played it last year I think it was and I agree the game still looks amazing.

My only complaint is they setup specific situations where the music plays and it’s not many. I wish they would let you control the music playing when you go on long trips.

Werewolves, just picked up a new Midnight Edge. So sick. Yes, I hate myself. Considering selling my white one partly to recoup cost but daddy one day maybe needs a backup...lol. Excuses, excuses.

No Rest for the Wicked released a 25 minute video of their upcoming update called The Breach. It looks so good, however, no confirmed release date for consoles at the moment. Soon though I hope.

How is the Edge? Do you use the extra buttons? I'd like to get one but it costs three times the normal Dualsense.

This is my second and it’s the best controller I’ve ever had. Build is high-quality. Been gaming since the 90s.

The paddles (back) are a game changer, allowing you to perform more actions at once and without claw-handing, but you can also customise up to three profiles, where for each you remap all buttons, set preset or whatever sens, button resistances for haptic preference et cetera. Worth the money. If issues arise, you can swap parts out for modularity; no need to buy second.

I never even considered back paddles until I played Doom Eternal. There are so many inputs in that game, it would have been nice to have an extra couple buttons to make different weapon swaps easier.

Edge seems to be the only controller with those two under the sticks. Do you use those much?

Jason Blundell's studio has a name: Dark Outlaw Games

1:18:40 give or take in this interview he's done with Jeff Gersttman

I've had the amazing opportunity of creating a new studio within PlayStation Studios, for Sony, the studio is called Dark Outlaw Games, been working in the shadows for a while, when we have something to talk about we will step to the light
The reason why we are not doing a fanfare or shouting out on the rooftops is to get to something

Yeah, every game except for ones that I can’t break muscle memory for (to relearn) so just stick to traditional DS for those games. I also never use Edge for Session (skater sim; my chill game), but that’s just personal preference.

Going the other way, I can’t play some games anymore with the trad DS because of how dynamic and comfortable the Edge is. Your reaction speeds will increase, full stop, because more fingers are in play.

It’s such a rad peripheral, bud. Comes with a proper long cable too to play wired.

Well I only play wireless (unless the cord is ten feet long). Edge also has a higher polling rate than Dualsense which means less input lag apparently. Another selling feature.

I could definitely see it becoming hard going back once you get used to the Edge. I just wish they would go on sale once in a whlile but haven't seen one yet.
