So, the second DLC is very stylish compared to Tengu's Disciple, IMO, with arguably some of my favourite cutscenes after Okuni's dance from base game. Raiko, our demon slayer NPC, is also beautiful, which never hurts.
I'm experiencing Nioh fatigue again, not unlike the first game, so I feel content rather to have knocked the new missions out, done minor tweaks to char, and retired title until final DLC releases. My amrita-sword build is tired but I'm too tired to rework all the moving parts. 300-400h in this beast and I'm knackered.
I love the new AI Oboroguruma, a possessed medicine wagon/oxcart -- and Yasha is perhaps my favourite enemy in the entire series; her head-to-toe vibe is incredible with a sinister moveset and is in sum Bloodborne-calibre. So sick, fellas.
New clawed fists. Meh. Cool but kind of whatever in a Tonfa vein. Really nice strong ATK kicks and skill-tree looked refreshingly innovative -- think what they did with s/glaive.
This DLC, like deadshot alluded to, does feel overtuned, e.g., the gatekeeper boss White Tiger put me down a couple times before besting him when I never felt per se overwhelmed, and DMG in general seems dealt to blunted effect against Capital foes. I suspect these super-builds Team Ninja see on YT, Twitter whatnot have them wanting to up the ante.
Overall, respect.
