I'm gonna learn his first tournament variation. Played around with it. Felt like a good pocket zoner. Reminds me a lot of Dr fate.
 
I knew those morphs wouldn't be in his tournament variations. And people wonder why you see the same characters over and over in tournament play.
 
Went 4-2 in my weekly last night using Shang Tsung the whole time. Funny enough I got put into Loser's and then eliminated by another Shang lol. Ended up getting 3rd place.

So far not really but I need to start using more of his strings. Mainly up close I use d3 and b3 to get space/open them up. I use f2 and b1 from sweet range/whiff punishing range.

His 114 string also seems good even though it starts high. In general he seems to have good strings although you have to be careful as many of them have gaps

Spam Kabal's hook sword jump in punch more. That shit goes 20 miles and makes me rage. You can jump backwards and land it and still full combo.

No you don't understand. It shouldn't be able to beat out my restand f4. If anything it should trade because I'm +2 at that point and with that in mind my f4 is 7 frame start up and it's a mid. I got pissed the fuck off.
 
Giving up on Shang, he will be last pick if i want to have fun. Played kombat league only using him , if you play with somebody that mains only one character you're fucked up. Time to get back on my Jax or Scorpion

To use. Shit normals, shit damage mid screen , hell shit damage period. She has like one KB string and that shit doesn’t even do 20% raw. Only thing that saves her is her projectiles since 20 of them come out when you meter burn it. If the opponent knows the B3,2,D1 launcher it’s pure struggle. the Kahn’s and Kano have terrible buttons/frame data but can still do damage. Frost is right there with D’Vorah

Do you play with custom or tourney variations?Because let me tell you something having to spend two bars for 34% in Ripper is not good. The Kano struggle is real. However I disagree with frost having bad buttons. She controls so much space. You basically wanna keep walking backwards with her. Idk about damage scaling though.
 
Also what is NR obsession with making Sonya this high damage for nothing/mix up intensive character? She’s just as obnoxious as MK9

I use a custom variation with damage buff ability and I use ice machine in ranked. The other one is trash like Errons 2nd variation. At least you get 34%. Frost barely gets 30% with two bars. And at least you got that fast down 1. All Frost buttons suck except her down 4
