Haven't labbed anything. Got a bit over half way with the story. But I can't wait to lab lui. That fuckers strings look all safe on paper. I was kinda blown away. I think the highest negative I saw was -7

What are you talking about, dude? All I said was I thought the story was meh, and it doesn't make sense. Am I not allowed to hold that opinion because a crappy film came out 20 years ago? I don't understand your point. They put the story mode in there for a reason, so why is it not allowed to be criticised?

...that's not what you said/what we're talking about. hint: "You never really get a grasp on how powerful a character is because they're kicking ass one minute, and then get beat by everyone the next. Kotal Kahn has such a badass design, but he's a total jobber and it's so disappointing."

Liu Kang is really fun. I’m enjoying his style a lot. Only concern is that I think because he’s easy to use and a main character in the story probably people will know how to fight him a lot

I never claimed MK was a single player game. Let me break my point down for you.

MK has a story mode. They spend thousands of hours and millions of dollars on this mode. The story mode has issues and valid criticisms. These criticisms are not invalid just because the story mode is not the main focus of the game. They obviously care about the story and want somebody to care otherwise putting all this time, effort, and money into it would be a ridiculous waste. Balanced characters in competitive have nothing to do with how strong these characters are in the story.

I'm not saying this game is complete shit because of the story mode, I was just replying to someone talking about a playthrough of the story, and I was talking about its flaws.

Yeah, I think I'm done here. You have no intention of actually reading what I have to say and just want to misrepresent for whatever reason. Kotal getting beat all the time was a tiny part of what I was talking about. I don't even care that much about the story, but I was just criticising it because it's still a valid part of the game that can be talked about just like everything else.

you really should have just watched the youtube vid i posted. you clearly take the story more seriously than even the devs do.

There's no real hero of the story if everyone can beat Shao Kahn, Shinnok, Kronika, Onaga, etc.

I thought Kung Lao was also very easy to pick up and play as. With zero practice I was putting combos together and juggling with the spin, I was garbage with him in X.
