Just watched a playthrough of the story mode. I am not a fan of Ronda voicing Sonya Blade. Doesn't fit the character imo. No emotional range either.

I thought the story was pretty meh overall as well.

Apparently I missed that Kitana was announced to be in the game about 2 weeks ago, and I was excited to see how she'd compare to the rest of the roster.



And based off this trailer, it looks like she's going to be a 3rd-tier character.

So... suddenly... she is REALLLY Asian. Much more Asian than any other version of her in the past 25 years.

Covered from the neck down in a boring bodysuit. I get they're shying away from making the female characters looking like strippers, but they're going further than that by making them BORING.

Apparently Kitana was too OP in MK9, and they toned her down for MKX, and apparently they toned her down in MK11 to just be a character that no one is going to pick.

Great job, Netherrealm.

Nah, she wasn't OP. Kabal and Sonya shat all over her.

They buffed her in MKXL IIRC.

Liked Jade a lot in the beta. I usually play a little bit of Liu Kang so I will probably see if I want to actually main him again (did in MKD since no reptile)

Unfortunately, Jade's corner combos after her deadly butterfly seems really hard now. It was NOT this hard in the beta. Looks like a fucking nerf, lol.

Outside of Johnny Cage, so far the story has been a bit bland. Feels like they tossed in some random characters, unless later on they actually are given a bit more to do.

What i would like to know, anyone know how damn Jax grappling variation works? I can grab once ,amplify but not second time where you get krushing blow and big dmg.

I didn't see it, but resetting position resets everything including the KBs you've already performed.

Played for a few hours after work. Just jumped straight into ranked. I'm about 15-0 now I believe. The match making is way better than before. Got matched up with Kitana Prime in one of my matches. Beat him 3-2. Maining Baraka btw. Hes the best hes ever been an I love it.

Ok, it's not just me. Kitana got hit with the nerf stick earlier. I didn't play her until about an hour ago, but I thought it was weird that she couldn't do anything after her fans.

so this is another game that has bullshit dlc characters upon release... and wants people to pay full price for a game and then pay for characters (repeatedly). this level of crockery should be reserved for f2p games.

As long as they don't take forever like they did with injustice 2, it got to a point where I was more interested in seeing who was the DLC than I was actually playing the game because I did all I could on the base game.
