Not sure if anyone here watched the panel that Netherealm Studios did at C2E2 revealing Noob, but I was the last person in the Q&A. Told a short story that Ed acknowledged in the tweet below.

I know that I'm going to love this game but I wish they'd move forward. This roster is straight up dawg shit. It feels like no mk4 character gets any love besides Quan Chi.

Move past Jax, Sonya, and Johnny to make room for their kids. Shouldn't have 5 slots taken up by families. They could've had Rain, Fujin, and Reiko.

I'm generally never excited for dlc but this is the first time I'm looking forward to the DLC characters. Shang is a legit addition to the cast. However, two dlcs will probably be guest characters like spawn and some horror genre killer. So even that kinda puts a downer on the roster.

I don't mean to sound like some shit head purist but I know I'm not the only one.

I haven't followed MK in years, but I played the shit out of first four games or so and followed the story to an extent.

I read the cast for the MK 11 game... that is a bummer about the selection that they have.
 
There is litterally nothing wrong with the cast. It's not even fully released and if you guys have paid any attention to fighting games in the last few years we're bound to get at least 10 more characters as DLC. Relax.

MK4 was a pretty shitty game and the new characters weren't really memorable besides Quan Chi. It was as bad as War Gods (yes, I went there). Maybe they're trying to forget that mess.

However I don't care about Sonya or Cassie myself. At least Jacqui and Cage look fun to play.

I was specifically talking fujin and Reiko. Kai and Jarek are meh but wouldn't mind seeing them again. Feels like we're stuck in a mk 1-3 character loop. Minus new additions from mkx and 11. I'd prefer a game with less staple characters.

Those two were nothing special, but I certainly would have preferred them over fucking Bo Rai Cho, lol. Most probably forgot Kai even existed.

Let's see what they do with Frost.

Hmm, I wouldn't mind seeing them both. From watching the kombat kasts, I actually want to try all of the characters so far except for Sonya and Cassie.

Yeah, you might be right. Although those 3D characters would need a MAJOR overhaul, I think NRS could make them work. Let's be honest, if Jarek came back, he wouldn't fight like Kano.

Beta is live for everyone now to download who preordered.
Luckily i will have one code to share on sherdog for beta , i dont know when i will just post it in here and first one will get it .

Man if only the beta had access to the lab. I can't for the life of me get anything going besides basic 25% damage combos.
 
Is beta access only for ps4/xbone?

I'll buy the steam pre-sale right now if I can play. Gonna do it anyways cuz I need Shao Khan.
