Little victory, I suppose. Other than Liriano, the pitching has been pretty solid in general. The bats are in a fucking coma though. Just plain ugly so far.

I think they need to let their veterans know if they don't perform they could lose their spot (even just temporarily) they are what 9 games into the season and Russell Martin is bating .050? I know he's great defensively, but salty is actually hitting when given the chance to play. Bautista is batting below .150 and is a selfish player, he literally never plays small ball, he either crushes or pops out. Carreras is again when given the chance playing better. Same with Barney when he plays instead of Travis. They're at the point now, like you said it's not a slow start anymore, maybe knowing they might have to sit out will jolt them into producing.

Bronson Arroyo is still pitching wtf (as expected he's getting shelled)

Week and a half SSS but Eric Thames looks like a shrewd pickup. I don't expect him to put up video game numbers like he did in Korea but he looks more of a complete player then Carter was last season.

Edit - LOL he just homered right after i clicked post reply

Ozuna with 4 HR and 16 RBI now.

Okay, you can't go 1-8, Jays.

If so, that lineup needs a complete shake up. Spread the power out. I think teams are just pitching 2,3,4,5 accordingly, and letting the chumps chump it up.

The Jays bats are simply too predictable. This can not continue.

They need to shelf him until he's 100%. That calf injury doesn't seem to be going away.

Having him pinch-hit against the Brewers was pants on head retarded. Pretty stupid to risk him this early in the season.
