For people who have never strength trained, I always suggest something like Starting Strength or similar for a while to get a strength base going. Around a double bodyweight squat is a good bet.
More Judo - specific stuff I personally do are barbell split squats, lunges, and good mornings (to stand back up when I get pulled down) but some other guys will have some more valuable input here too.
